   This reverse harness works well for a head unit that came from 07-08 Scion tC. This will work for many more Toyota and Scion vehicles than mentioned in the description. Of course Amazon has some of the best pricing on stuff

   I needed to use a high to low converter to use the stock radio with a mini amplifier. This made it so easy to do without cutting a single factory wire. Simply plug the ends in and i could now splice the wiring the way i wanted. Sent most of the wires from one to the other like it was normally wired, and branched the power ground and speakers to a high-to-low converter and amplifier as needed.

   I used this on a 2017 Tundra non-JBL head unit that was sitting around because I upgraded to an aftermarket unit. Used this harness and connected the old Toyota head unit to a 12V battery. Connected some old car speakers to it… Done. Works great as a garage stereo system. Next step… build a box around it. Packaging contains info on what all the color coded wires are for. Fun little project to do with kids.

   I ordered this to install a after market radio. This harnes is replacement for the car side to plug into the oem radio. It Said in the title but I didn’t read it all.Item as described. Just don’t be fooled and order the wrong thing like I did.Note. For after market radio, you need the “female” style collectors to be compatible with your stock wire harness.

   Excellent product for repairing a previously cut wring harness in order to reinstall a factory headunit however it can also be used in conjunction with the Scosche standard wiring harness to connect an aftermarket amp (or line output convertor/processor) to the factory headunit without cutting any factory wires.

    This and the standard wiring harness for late model Toyota vehicles allowed me to wire a Clarion amplifier into my factory radio system at the workbench. The plugs are a perfect match but one pin was lacking on the rear speaker plug, moved an unused wire from the front speaker/power plug and all works perfectly.
