I am a makeup snob. I have stupidly high standards for cosmetic performance, and drugstore brands have let me down every single time I’ve given them a shot. So when I graduated from Covergirl to Sephora after college, I never looked back. My kit is full of Dior and YSL foundation, Armani concealer, Benefit brighteners, etc.I say this in order to grab the attention of my fellow makeup snobs: If you would never even consider Maybelline, this review is for you.Bloggers have raved about this product for a while, but I never bothered to check it out until a close friend and fellow product snob suggested it. Here are my findings:1. It applies like the Armani Maestro Eraser liquid undereye concealer. This is very very essential, for those of us who hate the 5th hour cakiness of cream concealers but also hate the weak coverage and creasing of most liquid attempts. This eraser goes on with the Maestro’s same thin liquid texture, without sinking into lines at all, and without losing opacity as you blend.2. It is at least 50% more opaque than the Maestro. I was pretty stunned. Anything that can go on with that consistency but have noticeably better coverage is doubletake worthy imo.3. The sponge applicator is better than you think. Firstly, it’s antimicrobial, so you don’t have to worry about the hygiene aspect. Secondly, its ability to blend the product is outstanding. I typically skip clumsy applicators like that, but with this, I do 80% of my application with that sponge tip, and then just finish with a good concealer brush to set it and blend out the edges.4. It doubles as a highlighter. Every time I use this, I find myself seduced into just continuing the line of application from under my eyes out onto my cheekbones, brow bones, and nose bridge. A nice blending brush/sponge later, and there’s this flawless highlight landscape to finish up, without settling badly into pores or caking up.5. It sets beautifully with MUFE Micro HD powder and Shiseido translucent powder. It buffs out nicely, without chipping off into the brush.6. It looks good without primer, which combined with its compact design and integrated applicator makes it an ideal purse dweller.7. It worked on my thin but minimally wrinkled undereye area, and on my 60yo mother’s more aged eye area. It’s rare that I find a product that looks great on both our skin types, and I was impressed at how well it brightened her problem skin without caking or exacerbating the age marks.8. It is lighter than you think, but cheap enough to test out different shades.9. It lasts so much longer than you’d expect. I tested it on bare skin during a work-from-home day, just to see how the wear was, and was delighted to find it still working fairly well by the time I went to wash it off that night. I wore it again with a full face for a date night, and it looked flawless when I went to wash it off later. There are times when you don’t want the totally opaque, nearly airbrushed look… but there are definitely times when you do. This eraser is now my official go-to product to pair with my Dior Airflash foundation, for those totally flawless skin look occasions. I could not recommend it higher, at very least as an experiment for the snobs among you.

I have tried countless concealers for my under eye circles—most of which cost triple the price of this one by the way. I figured I’d try this on a whim because the reviews were so great and it was so inexpensive. It’s officially become my new favorite concealer. It’s not cakey, it blends easily, it doesn’t crease and it lasts all day.

So I’m changing my review from four stars to five.Although this product does tire out my face a little when wiping it off (it stays on for a really long time), it does the job.So here’s the thing: I’m Asian, and really pale. I made the (kind of) mistake of buying the concealer in Fair, the first time, and it was just too light and pink for my skin. So recently I decided to buy the concealer in Light, and it was perfect. Since we Asians tend to have a yellowish tint in our skin, Light is the perfect color. Light is a pale yellow while Fair is a pale pink, as you can see in my picture. (I know Fair is a little hard to see but that’s only because I’ve been using it for a while and it’s kinda drying out.) When blended out, Light matches my skin a lot better. One thing to take note of: A really thin layer of this leaves a dry, papery look, so apply more than a thin layer. That’s all. It’s a great product.

This product stands up to all the reviews! I have dark rings around my eyes. So much so people ask if I am tired all the time. I have tried endless concealers, used foundation tricks, even the red lipstick trend under the eye. Everything always ended up looking caked on or emphasizing the rings even more.I purchased this color because I am very fair skinned. It matches great, and applies very smooth and silky. The product didnt feel like it was becoming caked on my face with additional layers. I opted to (bake) with powder the 2nd test run and was even more suprised with the results. I have additional areas I want to cover on my face and plan to use this to do so. As mentioned it does have a silky feeling verses what you might be used to with other concealers, but doesnt lack coverage because of it.I recommend anyone adding this concealer to your makeup collection.

I am a 30 year old female. I have extremely dark under eye circles. Honestly that is the only reason I wear make up, is to cover them. I’ve used numerous kinds of concealers. Tarte shape tape, Mary kay, Estee lauder (assorted kinds), IT cosmetics bye bye under eye, clinique, Laura mercier, mac and Bobby brown. I usually spend anywhere from $25-30 on 1 tube of concealer and still feel unsatisfied with the coverage. Or it looks too heavy and thick by the time i set with a damp makeup sponge and powder (accentuating my under eye fine lines). This little gem is great. I use this concealer every day instead of all my high end brand concealers. It’s full coverage, buildable, lasts all day, not drying and not too liquidy. I’m so happy I gave this a try, will definitely be keeping this baby in my every day makeup bag.

I wear Fenty but this brand is half the cost and gives the coverage just as great as Fenty which is quite expensive. I ordered 2 initially and I’m happy I did leaving for vacation. I figured why take the expensive stuff since I will be outside or at the beaches. Wow was I surprised and happily surprised! I added the with and without pictures for your reference and you can see the dark circles clearly and not even a small bit on the after..what a difference a small amount of coverage will do for your under eyes! My color is Tan.

I bought Maybelline’s Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Brightener. I took the advice of another reviewer and I pulled off the top sponge BEFORE I started to turn the applicator. I turned the applicator slowly 5 or 6 times (or more) and then waited patiently for the concealer to come to the top of the exposed tube. Don’t turn it too fast or too much or the concealer will pour out of the top. Once the product got to the top of the short white tube, I used my middle finger and dabbed the tiniest bit of concealer under my eyes. A little goes a long way. I apply my liquid foundation over the Brightener because I do not like the white “owl” look. Even under my foundation, it truly brightens up under my eyes reducing the appearance of bags and dark circles. I believe the sponge, which would soak up a lot of the concealer, would be a terrible waste of product. I really like how the concealer goes on smoothly and now it will last a long time. I have very sensitive skin and I have not had a problem. Using the Brightener is now part of my daily makeup routine.

Im a very pale person, so i bought the Fair one. It’s perfect for my eye bags and darkness. I’ve been used one from Lancome, but these so much better!!!

I have used this product for years under my eyes, and have found that it blends and covers much better using a wet brush to blend after using the sponge applicator. It eliminates the cakey buildup and settling into creases that I originally experienced. I also recently had plastic surgery to revise a large dog bite scar on my lower lip and chin, and use this to conceal the incision while it heals. The pictures are one month post surgery with and without the product. It covers very well and is barely noticeable.

Best under eye concealer ever. I am 67 years old, have tried them all and I wouldn’t go out without applying this concealer. It blends nicely with my foundation and has never caked. The sponge applicator is soft and makes application quick and easy. I will continue to use this product and hope, like many products I’ve used over the years, that it doesn’t get discontinued.
