   I was color matched incorrectly so the concealer was darker than my foundation. Wasn’t a total loss at all because I was able to gift it to my grandmother who has a deeper skin tone comparatively. She loves both the consistency and the ability to cover her discoloration and she spots! And for less than $10? Definitely will be repurchasing both for her and hopefully getting the correct color for myself! LA Girl makes pretty good products for being a drug store brand and are found virtually everywhere

   La Girl is great in the concealer department as far as I’m concerned because I have acne scars and hyperpigmentation . Because of these issues a regular concealer will work but I have to layer it to the point of wondering if my skin will be able to breath underneath it all. With this peach colored concealer , I can apply it and smooth it out with my fingers and the pink color covers the hyperpigmentation enough so your not sure that it’s even there. It has a pretty good coverage although I have to apply a bit more than most probably would, it’s easy to work in and gives you a nice clean base to apply your foundation to (yes I apply my concealer first to cover the scars). This is a keeper for me at age 60 and I will not be without it !

   Really surprised how good this is given price. Light and creamy. Good coverage. Buildable. Can be worn alone, applied under make up, or on top of make up. Needs to be set with powder. For the price, use as much as you want. Play. Experiment.The color has some orange to it and really neutralizes dark under eye circles. I use another concealer/color to conceal redness.I like the packaging. Simple and effective. It’s a squeeze tube with a brush at the nozzle. More control and easier to dispense. I used to use the click click click concealer pens (LUMI) but hated the packaging because there was so little product to begin with and then the packaging wasted so much of it by trapping the product inside. Not this. There is plenty in the tube and it is easy to squeeze out.

   After hearing so much about this product (peach) everywhere, and then reading the reviews I figured I would try it before repurchasing my usual dark/eye bag camo Dr.Brandt that’s 10x more expensive..I was shocked with how well it blends, and conceals with over drying like DrBrandt tends to always do (caffeine shouldn’t dry skin anyway). So now, this is my new go to, and just recently purchased caffeine serum instead (both together still half the price of DrB). Ordering a fair shade now, and possibly trying the yellow.. then..idky lol I highly recommend, if it works for me and my crepey under eyes (I’m 46y.o) , it should work well for other fair skinned people with dark circles)eye bags. It’s definitely worth a try! Especially at this price!!

   I feel like this works pretty well as a dark under-eye corrector for my skin tone. With foundation I usually fall under the light or light/medium categories. It does look a little orange-ish when first applied (picture #2, left eye), but blends out pretty well with regular concealer/foundation (picture #3, left eye). Picture #1 shows both eyes without makeup to show the purple under eyes. Right eye stays make-up free to show side-by-side comparison.

   Are you kidding me! This stuff is amazing! I usually only wear Mac prolong wear concealer, little back ground on me I have very dark circles around my eyes, and I have sever dry eye and had to have my tear ducts plugged plugged so every single time my eyes water my tears go down my face or pools into the bag under my eye and even the “water proof” Mac concealer only works for so long… I will say I have only been wearing this pro concealer for about 2 hours but holly cow I have to keep going and looking in the mirror and how gorgeous it is!!! I reason I tried this is because I got to the gym 5 days a week and I usually throw on some concealer before the gym then shower after the gym and the Mac concealer is not cheap by any means and to be applying it at least twice a day just gets expensive… this concealer has by far exceeded my expectations!!!! Very very happy I feel like this will be date night concealer instead of gym concealer lol

   Decided to try this because of my friends saying wonders about the formula and: I’m so glad I listened. These are perfect, perfect. I actually buyed three of them: Fawn, Cool Tan and Pure Beige so I can contour, conceal and highlight and the formula is so good that I can cover everything, create a more sheer-look or even use it as foundation. It doesn’t oxidizes too far from the original color and leaves a natural finish on the skin. I love that it also lasts a long time on my oily skin.

   This works well. It’s a little to dark for my skin tone. But I use it a little and do like it. It doesn’t spread real easy and isn’t real creamy but for what I use it for its perfect. I use it on the sides of my face and nose. I wouldn’t use it under my eyes its to dark for me. It does come out easy with its own attached brush to spread which is a nice feature. It is nice and works well, I am just a little fairer skinned and it a little dark for my other products I use. It would be perfect if it was lighter.

   There are gazillions of videos on contouring but it’s generally pretty simple: Light colours under the eyes, eyebrows and mid nose. Dark colours on the sides of the nose bridge, cheekbones and chin. LA girl concealer has quite the variety in colours, so the best way to know your shades when online shopping is to watch a swatch video by someone with a complexion similar to yours. I did this, chose my contouring shades (Toast, Toffee, Warm Honey, Fawn and Dark Cocoa) and placed my order.Toffee (which is annoyingly identical to Chestnut) is my natural complexion.I used that above my eyebrows and as a primer for my eyelids. Fawn is on my under eye circles and my eyebrow highlight (which mixed with the Toffee primer in blending and created a more natural). Warm Honey is on my nose bridge, cheeks and under the cheekbones (I could have also used Toast). Lastly, I added Dark Cocoa to my nose bridge and cheekbones (the most popular contour areas and really the only real contouring one needs to do) and blended. I found that my cheap, off-brand eyeshadow had a much better finish with the Toffee primer. My acne was no better concealed because of the creaminess but adding some setting powder helped only slightly. The whole set lasted about 5 hours without fading in Winter weather (can’t speak for the Summer).Ultimately, I really like these concealers because the inexpensive price makes it easy to get multiple in one go, and to have everything you need for concealing and/or contouring. They sustain the natural-but-professional look I go for everyday, complimenting my IMAN foundation and semi-loose powder. They remove easily with any vegetable oil and a wet cloth and haven’t caused any breakouts. I’ll be sticking with this brand.
