Amazingly detailed sound, using them with a Yamaha R-N602. Pair very well.Although I don’t think they work well with heavy bass music, or if you listen to very loud volume. But they are very good with vocals and bring out the small details in the sound.

Look great, nice choice for white speakers. Sound great standalone powered by a decent receiver, perfect for a medium sized room.

I got these on sale and planned on using them as front speakers in a simple surround sound setup. I hooked them up to my dedicated music system to try them out and they are not going anywhere! The Elac’s will go in the HT system. They are easily driven by my 70’s vintage Yamaha CR receiver and were just the sound I was looking for. The Elac’s are great, but sound just a bit ‘dull’ whether hooked up to the Yamaha or a modern Emotiva receiver. There’s a lot of bass coming from the rear ports, so I think proximity to walls could have a significant effect on the sound. Easily 5 stars and the best bang-for-the-buck I’ve seen.

Its an improvement from the Jamo s803. The build quality is top notch but the only complaint is I wish the box is also curved from the sides. Other than that its an amazing bookshelf for the money.

After much review watching and patience for a good sale on these beautiful looking speakers I finally was able to grab a pair. My old front pair of speakers were simply worn out and ready to put out to pasture. The quality of the Jamo c 93 mark II is remarkable for their price point. Truly a work of art. The cabinet is very well built with decent bracing. The binding posts aren’t the highest quality but if you use banana plugs they aren’t so bad. The drivers are high quality and and very stout for the size. The grills are magnetic so there is less chance for them to break if you like to take them off frequently and the pattern of the fabric matches the Jamo subwoofer I have as well. As far as the sound goes they are hard to beat. Very good bass extension down to the low 40 Hz range with fast, tight and accurate bass. Very satisfying punch. You could use them without a sub but I would recommend one if your wanting a true full range sound. The midrange has very good depth with lots texture. Voices are nuanced and natural. The highs sparkle and have razor sharp detail. The sound from these speakers give you a sense of space. Soundstage is massive and really gives you much larger scale than there size would suggest. For the money they are a nearly unbeatable value. I’ve been shopping around for a new pair of speakers for months and after seeing some reviews on YouTube and reading on the web, I am very happy I went with the Jamo brand. The reviews just don’t do this justice. They truly sound amazing and you will not be disappointed if your looking for audiophile quality but don’t want to drop thousands on equipment. I am using and Onkyo Dolby Atmos integrated receiver with a modest 80 watts per channel and that is plenty to drive the speakers to very high sound output. My only complaint really would have to be the binding posts aren’t the highest quality but overall an absolute beast of a bookshelf pair. 80% of the time I use them for music listening in stereo. The rest is video games and movies. So overall I would give them 4 and a half stars. If the binding posts were higher quality it would be 5 without hesitation.

I bought these to replace my Jamo S803’s. Like those speakers, these are v-shaped in their sound. But thanks to an exquisite tweeter, it is done very nicely. Now the fact that I said v-shaped, doesn’t mean that there isn’t any mid-range. It is toned down just a little, but still very present and extremely clear. Extremely clear. Where as the 803’s bloated bass resonated the cabinet a little too much for me and muddied things up (still great speaker for price). These C93 II’s are great for dialog, in my opinion. Also great for music (duh). With a good amp/dac the low end rolls off at around 45hz or so (depending on the room). I have been using an SMSL SA300 with an SMSL M100 dac, and the whole frequency range is clear, present and dynamic. These speakers have a very open sound to them and sound bigger than it may seem, if you were to base it off of looks. The finish is a vinyl wrap which is decent and perfectly acceptable (looks very nice). The tweed grills elegant and are a nice change over other speakers comparable. They have great aesthetic. If these are under $400 and you have been thinking about getting a pair, stop thinking and start buying.

Oh good, I get to be the first review.I like these speakers a lot. They replaced a pair of Elac Debut F5 floor standing speakers, which weren’t bad, but I never loved them. It’s totally a matter of preference, but the Elacs were very soft and smooth, which may be a good thing for some, but I found the sound a bit dull, particularly in the highs. I wanted more Clarity, detail and texture. I bought these based on Z-reviews of the previous version of the C93, and the current C91 ii, and the Zero fidelity review if this speaker.I got all that I wanted from the highs, but the lows are better too, more clear. I do use a sub because I have it one already, but I suspect that unless they’re a bass-hound, one could be perfectly happy with these without a sub at all. I find I have the crossover and gain in the sub set lower than with the Elacs, mostly to get the sub out of the way of the clear-sounding bass that these Jamos produce, which is counter-intuitive. I expected bookshelf speakers to need more help from the Sub than floor standing speakers.*edit after long term use*One thing to keep in mind is that these speakers have a v-shaped profile, which is a good thing if you listen at low volumes and want your highs to sparkle and your base to thump without having to turn the volume up too high. Having listened to these speakers for a few years now, I can recognize that I like them much better with vinyl because my record player has a warmer, more forward mid-range. In aggregate with the recessed mid-rang in the Jamos leads that to a pleasant and balanced sound. When listening to CDs or streaming, there are some songs where the treble sounds a little harsh and I have to turn the volume down.

These are lovely speakers. Crisp and shimmering sound. Best value available, especially for the white set.

I bought just about every speakers Youtube reviewers are raving about, yes some are better then the others. But these Jamo’s are just right. Depends what you hook them up to of course. I use them on my desk (nearfield) listening. I mostly stream from Qobuz high resolution on PS Audio stack. It’s expensive, if you want to go cheaper rout I would suggest PS Sprout100. A lot of other speakers sound very good until you get used to them and then they kind of become boring. I’ve had them for over a year and they don’t disappoint.
