This thing is AMAZING. I bought it last year and forgot about it, honestly. I decided to break it in recently and – my goodness!!! – it’s amazing! Why haven’t I used this before?! Tonight I made almond butter, which took 10 minutes (supposed to take 20) and I made peanut butter in 5 minutes. I’ve shredded multiple carrots in under a minute, sliced cucumbers in the blink of an eye – LITERALLY. It comes apart easily, it’s easy to wash, user friendly, sturdy, and as efficient as they come! Such a fantastic purchase! If you’re looking for a food processor, get this one!

I do a lot of window shopping before I decide on something. My SO goes nuts because it takes me three months to decide on a kitchen knife. That being said, I did my usual amount of research before buying this thing and my due diligence did not fail me yet again. The scraper is seriously so useful. Being Korean, I make kimchee every couple of months or so – which means a lot of friggin’ garlic. This thing is awesome for mincing up some serious amounts of garlic because bigger chunks tend to get stuck at the top and not get minced evenly. The scraper solves that problem. I also tried using it to process crab meat to make it flaky to make California rolls and the motor can handle dry and dense foods like crab meat. I also tried processing chicken breast for chicken salad with it and no problems there either. The control options are pretty basic but if you can handle your own around a kitchen then gadgets with crazy settings only get in the way. With this product, there is absolutely no need to hesitate. The amazing price is just that – an awesome deal.

I have been using this processor for almost a year now. I bought it to chop up meat and puree vegetables for making my dogs’ food. I have to make a new batch every week, so it gets a lot of use. I LOVE the scraper – that is my favorite feature! It scrapes down the meat/vegetables so everything gets chopped uniformly. My second favorite feature is that it is easy to clean. It purees sweet potatoes, cauliflower, carrots, blueberries, broccoli – anything I’ve put into the recipe. The meat has been ground beef or turkey, lightly cooked. Today I finally used it for me! I shredded cabbage for making sauerkraut – did a great job of uniformly shredding (although I used the slice side of the cutter – otherwise it would shred too finely for sauerkraut). I am very happy with this food processor!

I don’t usually write reviews, but this thing is god damn powerful and will pulverize anything you put in there. It hasn’t died out yet, still going strong after almost 2.5 years. I’m writing this because a blender I bought died on the first try, and this got the job done better and easier. I am actually off to buy one of Hamilton Beach’s blender’s now and hope it has similar performance.

I was happy with the price and after reading the reviews, decided to purchase a food processor after wanting one for a few years. I couldn’t be more pleased. I’ve used an Oster and Kitchen Aid processor before in my work as a personal chef and I think this one is actually more sturdy. I’ve shredded carrots and zucchini so far and egg shells which predictably scratched the plastic container but I don’t mind. The turn knob feels a little different than push button models but it seems to be well made and doesn’t feel like it will fall off or anything weird. If your’e thinking about getting a food processor, I highly recommend this one. I haven’t even used the multiple blades, just the one so I’m just getting started!

My old food processor had cracking parts and, oddly enough it was far less expensive to purchase a new on than to purchase replacement parts. So, I determined my price range and started reading reviews and settled on this one for one reason and one reason only – the bowl scraper. I had NO idea if the bowl scraper would turn out to be just a gimmick or the real deal, but if it was the latter, I knew I’d be more than happy. The product arrived in it’s own box, as if I’d bought it home from the store myself. I was a bit nervous about that, but when I opened the box, everything was in perfect condition. The food processor has two speeds as well as pulse. It has a S-chopping blade as well as a slicing/shredding disc, 10 cup capacity bowl, the feed chute really is large and of course the scraper! The only downside about this food processor is that it is really, really loud! However, I took nothing off of my rating because paying under 40.00 for this product, I didn’t expect it to be quiet. Now the upsides:The bowl scraper is phenomenal. It works exactly as it is designed and allows you to turn it back and forth while the S-blade is in use. It helps to ensure that all ingredients well blended and smooth. This works so well, that I used this instead of my mixer and hand held emulsifier for anything that needs to be mixed! . The only time you’d not want to use this is if you don’t want your finished concoction to be smooth and creamy. After using this for a month or so, I’ve almost forgotten how often I’ve had to open the lid in the past to use a spatula and scrape food off the side, close it back up and run it again! The bowl scraper really is a time saver and a utensil saver as well. It is important to note that the bowl scraper can only be used with the S-blade. It can not be used with the disc. For me that isn’t a problemThe disc works fine too it evenly slices and shreds whatever I send through! All removable parts are easy to hand clean and dishwasher safe. To clean the external unit, I unplug it, then wipe down with soap and water. This food processor also stacks nicely with all pieces having a specific storage place within the unit.If you do a lot of food processing that involves the use of the S-blade, then this unit with the bowl scraper is the choice for you!

I believe there’s a lot of dumb users out there who complain about the lid being stuck in these reviews. After receiving the product, I was mindful of the lid issue and examined how it could happen. Well there is a notch for the locking mechanism for the lid to correctly attach to the bowl. If you don’t align this notch and force shut it, the lid will get stuck. When force opening the lid back up after you mess this up, something could break. If you shut the lid correctly, it will NEVER get stuck so just pay attention the first time you use it. This is a great product for such a low price. Chops, purees, and does everything well.

This far exceeded my expectations. Sounds and operates like a real professional of much higher quality. I haven’t had any need to use the side scraper as it does just fine without it. I have made everything from guacamole to energy bites with very sticky dates and crunchy hazelnuts to work with. This machine is absolutely fantastic. I love it! There is no need to buy a much more expensive device as this one does a great job by itself. The only negative thing I have to say about this device, is the little sticky suction cups on the bottom. Although they are really nice to keep the appliance in place while in use, they are a real pain when trying to get the device out of the cupboard! I think I might end up removing them. All in all, you will be quite surprised and quite pleased investing in this little machine!! Last night it made an incredibly creamy mac-n-chz sauce:)

One of the best purchases I’ve made on Amazon in recent years (though I am rarely disappointed by my selections). I initially thought, “well, I’m a single guy who prepares 98% of all my meals at home, surely the 8 cup would be more practical.” However, when I noticed the bowl scraper was only included in the 10 cup version I decided on that. I couldn’t have been more on the money in that choice.I eat A LOT of kale and as most people know who also eat kale, when its uncooked it can be a bit tough to chew (and as others know, finely chopped veggies are so much better for the digestion process) well this little baby minces kale, onions, peppers, or whatever you throw in there (food) to fine pulp, if that’s what you are inclined to do. It also easily chops and dices and slices your vegetable with the additional “slicing” disc blade.Whatever you choose, this food processor will do the job provided you use it correctly. Those who simply want vegetables diced would be well advised to use the “P” (pulse) selection over the numerical options. It really decimates the food you are processing quickly, so keep your eyes open and for your own safety follow the instructions and ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS unplug the unit before you remove the lid.I really don’t believe I could be happier with a food processor. I’ve used Hamilton Beach kitchen appliances for years and have a few that despite years of use (and in some cases, abuse) have still performed well some 20+ years since they were originally purchased. Its early yet on this item, but judging by the construction I see very little evidence that this wouldn’t hold out for just as long with proper care and cleaning.
