Sleep Surface

    My dog is in love with the sofa bed. He always wants to sit on the couch with us but he sheds quite a bit and it’s a nightmare cleaning the couch all the time. He also really likes having support for his head, like when he’s in my lap I always have to stick my arm out for him to put his head on. So this design was really just perfect for him. He spends all day on this bed, even though we have another much larger, and softer, round dog bed. I think it’s also because of the orthopedic foam: it’s not really “soft” for my hand pressing down on it but I think it really supports his joints well when he lays down sideways or curls up on it. For some reason I can’t upload any pictures but he loves to drape his ear over the side and lie like he’s a Roman king. This is one of the best things I’ve ever bought for my dog; it was a perfect birthday gift. FYI: my dog is a cavalier spaniel, 20 lbs, about 13″ withers to base of tail, and we got a size Medium in Chenille Orion Blue, which I selected because it’s easy to see white/tan fur on it and keep it clean. The Medium gives him room to spare; he doesn’t take up the whole bed even when sprawled out.

    My Rat Terrier really loves this bed! He is usually sitting on, or stomping around on, me or my husband, when in the house. I got this bed to hopefully curtail all of that stomping around on our tender bits, and it worked! He loves this bed! He still comes and snuggles, but if he can’t get comfortable, he jumps down and goes to his bed, without complaint. No more stomping!

    I bought this for our new large breed puppy to grow into. I was very impressed when it arrived. It was rolled up and shoved into a box that seemed too small, which was comical but not at all a problem. The thickness and softness of the egg crate foam is really nice. My two year old approves.When puppy came home, she had an accident on it the first night. The cover came off so easy and later went back on just as easy. It washed well and no signs of coming apart or unstitching like a cheap product would. The foam itself seemed to repel water, and here’s where I made a mistake. I put it in the shower and rinsed it down with the shower, intending to wash it the next day, as it was 3am. The next day, and the next 3 days, that thing would not dry to save my life. I ended up putting it on the floor and put towels all over it and then walked on it to absorb the water into the towels. Pretty sure if I’d put it in the dryer it would have demolished it, as I’ve had happened to me before.After that, I began putting a cloth pee pad into the foam before inserting it back into the cover. I’m sure a puppy pad would work just as well and this will probably not even be an issue when she’s grown into it. Probably also a good way to keep the foam clean in general too from developing a musty dog smell.Overall, I’d say this is an excellent purchase for the price.

    Other reviewers have mentioned the quality varying in the different color options. The Orion blue happened to perfectly match an accent wall in my house and had the cozy fleece pad so I choose that color in LARGE. As soon as I unwrapped it and folded it out it was puffed and ready to go. No odd smells. As you can see in the picture my 43 lb Shiba/ Chow mix, Chester,fits comfortably with room for activities. (I did add an square of old foam mattress topper underneath for extra padding and warmth from our loft floors). This dog bed is definitely nicer than I expected for the very reasonable price.

    The media could not be loaded.  I just opened this and set it on the floor, you can see in the video how she checks it out, testing it with her back toe, she laid down and hasn’t moved!! I love the feel and look of this bed. Bought the large, she is about 49# and had plenty of room.

    Got the jumbo for our 100+ lb GS mix and he loved it as soon as we took it out of the box. It is just thick enough and very soft. The color is beautiful (smoke grey)- same color throughout vs the other greys that have a darker top. Best part- no more jumping on our couch! Highly recommend.

    Purchased 2, one arrived a few days before and my oldest girl (19yrs) claimed that one, she was in need of it, badly. Needless to say, my other girl (15yrs) was very envious. I was SO HAPPY to see this one arrive! Now, both of my pups are comfier than they’ve been in sometime and they’re sleeping through the night! Before these beds my 18yr old would pace in between sleeping because she couldn’t get comfortable. I couldn’t be happier!

    I bought this for my puppo’s birthday and when I opened the box it’s like she knew it was for her. She was more excited about it than the hamburgers she got. She laid on it the second I put it down, and you can tell by her face she really likes it. She also tried burrowing in it which is something she’s never done before. I was worried it was going to be a bit too small for her (she’s an 100lb German Shepherd and I bought the jumbo size) but it is perfect! It’s great quality, but the material will probably make getting the fur off a pain, but thats really any material. Will definitely be buying another one for her in the future so she can have a few around the house.

    The media could not be loaded.  This bed is cute! Very nice and sturdy however I think for it’s size it’s pretty small, I have a 15 year old tea cup Shih Tzu and his older bed (the lighter grey) is still bigger than this one. He loves stretching out on his bed and I’m going to have to return it for a medium instead. UPDATE: I think my baby gives it the stamp of approval I definitely needed the medium sized one. It’s a lot more spacious for him to lay in a curled ball or stretched out how he likes it. The exchange was easy THANKS AMAZON! 😊🏅

    I wish I had bought this years ago. My poor 18 year old kitty suffers from very bad Arthritis. Now that I’m working from home I purchased this bed to put next to my desk. His original bed was his crate for years as he’s never been a fan of pet beds. But this bed has been a game changer! He practically lives in it! He loves this bed so much I haven’t seen him in his crate bed. The bed is cozy, easy for him to get in and out of it and isn’t overly soft but just right. I got the medium bed and when it first arrived I thought it was going to be too big but it’s actually just right! Buy this for your fur baby! They will love you for it!Update: I’m actually purchasing a second one of these beds so he can one in each room! I’ve been recommending this bed to everyone! I bought the first bed back in Oct and have washed it and had zero problems. It’s a great quality bed!
