   I bought it so that when the power goes out here in California I can just plug it into our generator and make some ice to keep our food cold in an emergency but it’s been really hot and I’ve been using it nearly every day. We don’t have much space in our freezer for ice and what trays we do have get used up quickly. I have it in my room and I can have ice water all day now. It works pretty fast. I can keep my drink full of ice and my son’s as well all day long. We drink quite a bit of water. It’s all we drink so it’s just wonderful. I also bought a water filter pitcher and now I filter the water and make some ice. There are only a few buttons so it’s really easy to use. I liked that it came with a protective plastic coating as well. I just left it on. It seems quite although I have to admit it’s usually pretty loud in here anyways. It just drops the cubes every once in a while but all ice makers do that.It lasts quite a long time on one filling. I only fill it twice a day. Then it’s easy to remove the extra water when I’m done with the drain at the bottom. I’ve only had it a short while I hope it can hold up to my heavy use. So far so good two weeks in.

   I love this icemaker. Few things like this measure up. The cubes are nice on the large setting and last for a while in my drinks not melting too fast. I would throw away the first 8-10 runs of ice. Very first run of ice scared me but the cubes got better and larger. Makes ice pretty fast too. Faster than I expected. I don’t use my freezer ice anymore. Purchased to supplement on hot days when we had people over. I now run it all the time. Only recommendation is to set the electronic eye in the middle of the ice tray. Ice tends to melt towards the front so it does not make more ice until ice in the back of the bin starts to melt. Ice is always fresh tasting since the ice storage area is not below freezing. This is a great ice maker for the price. Nightly recommend.

   This countertop ice maker is really beautiful, efficient and gives you the option to make small or large ice. I won’t say cubes because their shape isn’t square or rectangular. They’re more circular and look almost like long pencil top erasers. I really like it because the ice can fit into small mouth water bottles, without getting stuck, like standard freezer made cubes. Both the large and smaller made ice. While making the ice, the machine is extremely quiet. The only time it’s a little louder is when the ice is released and moved into the included ice holder. Once it is full, you may transfer the ice into another container. The only drawback I found is that if the water container is filled to the maximum level, after the ice drops, the base of the dispenser may be wet, causing the ice to have moisture. When you transfer it, say to your freezer tray holder, it will cause the ice to stick together when mixed with other cubes. If you use it directly from the ice maker, you dont have this problem. A small scoop is included with the ice maker. It is very well made and heavy. A strong woman may be able to carry it, but I am allowing my husband to move it. I purchased the ice maker to use as a backup for a weeklong beach house vacation. There were 10 of us, using both the freezer and portable ice maker. We never ran out of ice. I was told by my guests that it was one of my best purchases.

   The media could not be loaded.  This is very convenient for trips like vacations to the beach, Camping, in a camper or RV. This puts out ice cubes quickly and fills the basket in minutes. Highly recommended!quickly

   The media could not be loaded.  So the advertisement video on this page is LAME! However, this thing pumps out 9 cubes in about 6-8 minutes. We bought this for our Camper because the ice maker in our freezer takes FOREVER. This is the best appliance we have purchased for our vacay on wheels.

   This icemaker was packaged very nicely. Everything was wrapped and taped up, but it was still easy to unpack and to remove the tape. My biggest pet peeve is when it takes an hour to unwrap something 🙂The icemaker itself feels very sturdy and was the perfect size for my limited countertop space. It is solid, but not overly heavy. It takes up about the same amount of space as my Kitchenaid mixer, just as a more solid rectangular shape. The entire unit is stainless steel minus the lid, which is a solid black and see through black color. The fan portion puts out a good bit of air, so make sure you have plenty of space on that right side to vent. I thought it might look too cumbersome overall at first, but it really didn’t take up as much space as I’d feared. And it matches my appliances very nicely. The cord is a really nice length too. I was surprised how much length you got.The front panel has notification lights for adding water, ice full, small ice size, large ice size, and also has a select button and the power button. It also comes with the removable ice basket and scoop. It is crazy simple to use. Just pour water in the tank, select the size and turn it on!Once you turn on the icemaker, it began filling within seconds. It took less than 5 minutes for the first small batch of ice to be done. You’ll need a bit of time to get a full batch. The basket holds enough to fill a couple cups full of ice, but the machine runs continuously if left on until it runs out of water. It’s definitely great for 2-3 people, especially if you have a small kitchen or space. I’m one of those people who has to have ice with their drinks, and this is perfect since we have well water and can’t use the fridge icemaker. Using filtered water, the ice comes out crystal clear and in a hollow shape.

   First I must say…..I am very impressed with the capability of this machine! Cleaning and set up is simple. It is sturdy, sleek, easy to use and truly makes ice in approx 8-12 minutes. You have the ability to choose between 2 sizes…LG and SM sized cubes. (I have included a photo to show the size variation). The compressor is quiet while operating and the only real sound you hear is when the ice cubes drop into the tray. I look forward to putting this to great use this summer, through the holidays and get togethers. Would be nice to take on a boating or camping trip- (RV), as it does require electricity. Another great product from a wonderful seller. Thank you!

   I have had this ice maker for over two months now and I can say this was a purchase well worth the money. It’s very easy to use, but I would recommend wiping it out first and then doing a few rounds of throwaway ice to clean out any manufacturing chemical residue. I have used distilled water in it but the ice didn’t come out clear – not sure why, but it’s not a huge sticking point with me. I also don’t really see a difference in size between the small and large cube setting. I will say that that it is loud when it dispenses a batch of ice, but I’ve gotten used to it. Our fridge ice maker tends to sporadically go on the fritz so this has been a great backup to have, because it churns out ice at a healthy pace. We keep it in our basement bar so it will be great for having guests over down there (whenever that will be when things go back to normal). It is amazingly fast at making ice – the first batch comes out in like 10 min after turning it on. I have seen reviews here saying that ice doesn’t last long inside it once it’s been made but I have run it for 24 hours straight without taking ice out and found that it only melted slightly. You aren’t going to be able to fill a cooler with its output but it will definitely help keep the drinks flowing. Bottom line: I highly recommend this ice maker.

    I really like this counter-top ice maker for my basement bar. It doesn’t take much room and I just keep a gallon jug of filtered water to refill it. The only issue that I had with it is the instructions for the “self-cleaning” cycle were wrong. It said to press and hold a button that doesn’t exist on this device. I figured out that by holding the on/off button for 5 seconds, it starts the self-cleaning, but it took me a minute to figure that out.
