   I love the lipstick concealer. It’s easy to apply and it seems to stay on all day. I’m not huge on wearing make-up, but use enough to look not-dead at work. The concealer helps to hide the darker bags under my eyes and doesn’t show through my powder foundation. I’ve bought several sticks over the years and love them. Only negative is sometimes the stick will break (which is common with lipstick), which makes it a pain to apply when you get towards the end of the tube.

   I’m very happy with Covergirls Smoothness under eye concealer. I ordered the color Medium because my skin is light to medium with sallow undertones. It blends in perfectly over my eye cream/serum. I just love it. Covers the sallowness under my eyes very well . If you are over 40…I would say to use some sort of eye gel/cream/serum/oil , before gently applying the cover girl concealer …that way, It doesn’t sink into any wrinkles I may have and I’m 55 years old. I Highly Recommend!

   I have used this product for over 15 years and couldn’t imagine using anything else. I mainly use it to cover blemishes and dark circles on my face, and it does an excellent job. I used another product before (Physician’s Formula) and found it orangey and weird. Color matters tremendously, and ivory works fantasticly for this pale Eastern European complexion! Goes on a bit thick, which I need to cover things. I use foundation to even out skin tone but this to cover what needs to be covered!

   I started using this DECADES ago. The formula seems the same, but even more moisturizing!PROS:COVERS WELL – I have used this on different types of imperfections, around eyes, even on my hands! It covers well, without looking cakey.CREAMY – sometimes I wear this alone, sometimes under make up. As I get older, I usually use some type of moisturizer, but during the day, NOT right under my eyes, and yet this goes on smoothly. LOVE THAT especially as I am in my late sixties.COST – OMG HOW can you beat the cost? Anyone else want to spend more than they need to? I don’t. THIS WORKS EXACTLY how I WANT and NEED IT TO, but at a FRACTION of the cost of other concealers. When it’s on sale, GRAB IT, although even when it’s not, STILL a great deal.CONS: None really except it is SOFT, like a lipstick, so don’t swivel it up more than you need to and remember to swivel it back down so it doesn’t break (LIKE a lipstick).

   I’m in my 70’s. For me, this concealer is gentle around the eyes…covers the dark circles well enough and makes a big difference in my eye appearance. It’s the best concealer I’ve used so far.

   Ugh why did I not know about this years ago, it solves so many of my problems. I love to do eye&lip makeup but almost no skin products because my skin is so dry most products actually aren’t flattering. The one thing that makes me self conscious is deep blue/purple shadows under my eyes, but I can’t ever cover them because most concealers are too drying and look SO powdery on me after a few minutes.For my dry skin type, this stuff is absolute magic. Creamy (if you’re afraid of cream not lasting well, put a thin layer of primer under), the light color just happens to be really perfect for me by sheer luck, not cakey, de-emphasizes my dark circles without making them look so covered that it doesn’t look natural against the rest of my skin, blends into my bare skin so well so that I don’t have to wear foundation to make everything mesh together.TLDR super great for a natural look, if you’re a minimal makeup person with dark circles and you just want to slap it on and go. Exactly what I was looking for.

   I give straight honest reviews. I especially like to do reviews on things I’m really pleased with. No one is paying me.CoverGirl Concealer has been around at least since the 70’s when I used to use it to cover spots and for contouring my face and you know what! It’s still the best concealer ever. I have tried several of the newer concealers thinking that since the 70’s concealer formulas must be well advanced and perfected. But just for comparison I dug out my old tube of CoverGirl Concealer in the shade Fair, and gave it a try. It went on smooth and creamy and did a fabulous job covering my skin where I needed it. So I ordered a nice new fresh tube. Love love love it! In my opinion CoverGirl Smoothers Concealer WAS the Best and STILL is the Best concealer you can buy.

   I’ve used this product for over 30 years. I like the stick better than the liquid form, since it does not settle into fine lines and wrinkles like that of a liquid. It doesn’t dry out the under eye area either, like some of the liquid formulations out on the market. The product hides the imperfections and dark circles very well, and stays put on the skin until I take it off. When I tan in the summer, I end up having to mix the color with the next darker color, which is medium to provide good, unnoticeable coverage. I have tried other variations of concealer, such as the Covergirl with Olay concealer, but since they stopped making that, I am back to using this favorite product.

   I’ve been wearing this product unwaveringly for 20 years, since I was 18 years old. There pros and cons are below:Pros:●It’s extremely lightweight.●I can hardly feel that it’s on my skin most of the time.●It feels clean.●It doesn’t contribute too much to any of my breakouts, although it does a little.●It looks natural.●It blends in evenly.●It doesn’t cake up.●It can fit a range of light-skinned colors. I have light skin, but this is more for neutralizing. You can wear it under other makeup if you’d like. If you have dark skin, you’ll need a darker color.●A little bit goes a long way.●You only need a tiny amount for each imperfection.●It is specifically great with discoloring of skin, such as around eyes, veins, red marks, etc.●It washes off so easily with soap and water.Cons:●It is a little dry and can dry your skin if you use often.●It may feel a little uncomfortable at times.●It shows up weird looking in photos… you may notice it glows in photos or highlights certain facial features.●If you wear it alone in highly concentrated portions without anything on top like blush or powder to blend it, it may stand out.

    Because this is not sold in stores anymore, I’m ordering online wherever I can – and I order in bulk to have enough for a year. I never go wrong with Covergirl Solid Stick Concealer – been wearing this over 20 yrs!! (P.S. I use petroleum jelly to remove; and then in the morning use more petroleum jelly, wipe off with tissue, which makes the concealer stick glide beautifully. At almost 60, I have no definitive crows feet!)
