   I always come back to buying this mascara over and over. My eyelashes don’t clump together like most other mascaras. I can layer it to make my lashes look full or just use it sparingly and make them look more natural which is what I prefer. They don’t smudge easily but obviously if you were to rub your eyes or something they will smudge. I personally haven’t had any problems with it running or smudging. Easy to remove with just a face wash. Would definitely recommend.

   I am super impressed. I used to buy a different mascara every time – just taking whatever was available online and hoping it worked. But this was the first drugstore mascara I tried that actually transformed my eyelashes. I have tiny short lashes and these LENGTHEN alot while also giving volume. It does not fade and it doesn’t ever flake on my under eye even in very hot humid weather. It truly holds up amazingly throughout the day. You also get a ton of product compared to other brands. Most mascaras are .27 – .33 ounces of product this is over .40 and I noticed it lasts MONTHS before I need a new tube. Given the quality for the price this is my new favorite mascara

   It’s ridiculous, but I confess I HATE the orange bottle. I’m always tempted to buy something else just because of the horrible packaging color! Still, I come back to it, time after time, because it works so much better than anything else. It’s triumphantly volumizing, majestically lengthening, lol. But in all seriousness, the way the formula works somehow flatters me so much, occasionally I get compliments from strangers. It’s happened a number of times over the years and it surprises me every time. I think people can just tell it’s doing something beyond the ordinary.I should mention, neither my (natural) eyelashes nor my makeup application skills are anything to write home about. In other words, it’s definitely not me. It’s the mascara. :)

   I’ve been using this product for years now and it is hands down the best mascara that exists. It stays on all day and never needs to be re-applied. The brush is silicone/plastic/rubber (or something) which I think is what truly sets this apart. The mascara NEVER and I mean NEVER gets clumpy. The brush separates my lashes and evenly coats each one to make them look FULL and long. I also use the waterproof one when needed and it never comes off when swimming and works just as well to coat each lash. Not sure I will ever switch to another brand!

   I’ve seen several people write in their review that they’ve been buying this mascara for years and the one they received from Amazon looks totally different – I had the same reaction when I received mine and was suspicious it was a fake. It turns out it’s simply Covergirl’s new branding. I checked their website (see photo) and this confirms it’s the real deal, just a new look! Great product.

   To be honest I’m a guy and I use it to cover up gray hair sometimes when I get my hair dyed they missed a few spots or when new hair grows in and a friend told me to buy this product. let me tell you its fantastic. You just rub it in your hair in that gray spot and it covers all the gray hair and then when you wash your hair it comes right out. Simple. Most men would never admit that they do this but it’s an easy trick when you’re ready to leave the house and you don’t have time to get your hair dyed and you see a bunch of gray hair. Ty!

   I have spent so much time and money trying to find a mascara to work with my very sensitive eyes. I cant believe this one does all of that for such a reasonable price. Had Cover Girl not gone cruelty free, I would have never discovered it. I was so sick of throwing $30 away on high end rubbish mascaras that left my eyes feeling so sore and irritated….who knew it could be this easy. This seller went above and beyond to ship fast and offer an economical cost.

   I used to use very expensive mascara but I decided I needed to find something a little more affordable for every day use. This is, by far, my favorite drug store brand mascara (and I have tried many). The brush is probably my favorite mascara applicator ever! The formula is very thick so I get really nice volume without looking like I have spider legs on my eyes. I don’t wear a lot of makeup but I do wear mascara every day so I like this because it can give a more natural look or it you do several coats you can get a more dramatic result. I rub my eyes a lot and though it does flake off a little, it does not leave any smudging (unless my eyes are also watering but this is not a waterproof formula so I think it’s only fair to expect a little smudging with watery eyes). It comes off fairly easily at night. I love it so much I have it on auto-ship.

   I used to have lots and lots of lashes – long, thick lashes. And it didn’t matter so much what mascara I used because they didn’t need any help. Even then I used Maybelline mascara. Now, my needs are different. My lashes are more sparse, and I also don’t want to be pulling any loose when I take my mascara off at night. I still use Maybelline, but this different one that builds my lashes without making me look like an older person trying to look like a younger person. They stay separated, but they do gain volume. At night, I use a Neutrogena makeup wipe to remove the mascara, and then a little soap and water takes the rest off. My nightstand, my bathroom vanity, my pocketbook, my desk, all have their little collections of orange mascara tubes because I keep forgetting where I put them, and I sure don’t want to run out.

    I’m not a makeup afficianado, so I can’t compare this to many different mascara brands. All I can say is that this is an excellent mascara for me. I don’t wear a lot of eye makeup, so it is easy to notice my lashes. That is why I like mascara that highlights what I have. I enjoy a more glamorous look occasionally and this mascara is still a rich and dark formula. There is no clumping or combing required. I like the ease of use the most. This is what most women would want and need. The price is good and the product is great. Give it a try!
