    Bought this for our aging Pomeranian of 14 yrs for his birthday. He LOVES it! He’s a larger size Pom, about 20lbs. I figured the small size would be enough, but he should sleep like a king and be able to stretch out if he chooses. So I got the medium size and it seems so worth it! The bottom is super plush so he has the support his old bones need, and the sides are big enough he can nestle in and curl up like he prefers to sleep. We’ve only been using it a couple weeks now so can’t yet attest to quality after long term use, or cleaning needs yet but so far from a comfort standpoint he seems really happy with it and sleeps more soundly at night. Hard part is keeping my 4yr old out of HIS bed!!

    My cat is recovering from a grand mail seizure stemming from a hypoglycemic event. It’s a long recovery and she has some issues with mobility at the moment. She’s confined to a playpen, but was trying to get up and move around. Because she couldn’t really stand on her own, she was falling a lot and hurting herself. This bed put a stop to all of that. She’s happy as a clam in it and will sleep all through the night once I put her down for bed in it (which means I finally got some rest too)! It washes beautifully and I even dried it in the dryer with normal heat with no issues (it was still very slightly damp when I pulled it out so I let it air dry another hour before letting her use it again). My only regret is that I didn’t get two so she could use one while the other is being cleaned.

    Okay I am not my dog and I will not rate or review this bed based on the rate features. This bed has lasted the longest so far and my pup enjoys it he doesn’t attack it or play with as it was a toy. He simply lays in it and tries to push his smash faced into the edges. He looks extremely comfortable. I have not washed it, I do not plan for it to be abused. It hides his sheddings very well. My Bottom line: It works and I have a happy puppy.

    The media could not be loaded.  I love that my dogs love this bed! They have a bunch to choose from around the house but this one became their favorite right from the start. It is soooo soft and fluffy.The small is quite big in my opinion. The little brown dog in my pic is 4 lbs and the poodle is 7 lbs, both have plenty of room! Plus, the fact they are in it together shows how comfy it is… they normally can’t stand each other!I’m not sure how durable it is. We’ve only had it a week. I’m a bit concerned about keeping it clean bc the directions say to hand wash it, and I’m not doing that. Will update my review when I’ve had to wash it and will adjust my rating if necessary. For now, I call it 5 stars!PUPDATE 12/28/21This is probably the best money I’ve ever spent on my dogs. They are all obsessed with this bed. And from minute 1 even though they tend to be nervous and unsure of new things. This bed is magic.

    Now, my 3 dogs ALL have this same soft and comfy bed. I had purchased one of these beds for my single pup and she loved it, but my pup family soon gained 2 more pups. Then, all 3 pups wanted this one bed ..which caused me problems. Because I found this bed washes very well, keeps its shape, and my 3 pups love it, I decided it’s a good value for the money. So, I ordered 2 more beds for the new pups. Now, all 3 pups are very cozy and happy which means I’m also very happy. The new pups original beds were still in very good shape, so they went to another family with pups.

    I have a medium-size 26-lb rescue mutt, and bought both the small and medium-size beds. I was not sure whether the diameter was measured from the inside or outside. The small size fits best. The medium size is way too large. When Sophie (my dog) gets angry at me she will tend to attack and disembowel her bed. I simply re-stuff and restitch. Unlike most beds, that display my terrible sewing style, the stitches are easily hidden in the fluffy fabric. I’ve repaired the bed four times and it still looks like new (almost).

    The media could not be loaded.  From the moment the bed was out of the box, even as I was shaking it loose, my pup was totally interested! When finally on the floor, she nudged her nose deep into the side seams ~ would jump up and around and start again. So funny to watch her wiggle in delight !!! I’d taken back a pillow I’d purchased a couple days before. She had NO interest in that one. But this bed a totally different story. The pillow is super soft. Cushy. Pretty. Best of all, it completely satisfies my pup!

    Our little Chihuahua mix dog is getting older and sometimes has trouble getting comfortable. She was to the point where she spent more time trying to fluff and dig at her old bed than actually resting in it. It took only a few minutes to decide she likes this bed. I left the old one next to it for a day or two and every time she chose the new bed!She rarely digs at it, she just jumps in, lies down, and passes out. As (disgustingly) doting pet parents, we’re always happy to find products that our dog likes. The Active Pets Plush Calming Dog Bed is definitely a hit!
