    Laurie –

    Loving these so far but wish i had gotten roll with dispenser. Very strong and when rinsed dry quickly without musty smell, unlike dish rags. So far have held up for everything. Will use over and over for a long long time.

    I bought these mainly to maintain my tools such as applying grease to joints, boiled linseed oil to wood handles, oiling leather sheaths, etc. These absolutely do the job. Much more manageable than the paper towels I would use in a pinch. I usually try to wait until warmer weather to work on my car, so I still haven’t had a chance to use these for mechanical work but I have a good feeling that these will hold up better than the usual blue garage towels I have used in the past.

    These wipes are great! The first time I saw them was at the produce section of Walmart, then I came home and found them on Amazon!! These wipes are perfect for my work as a oil painter since they don’t make any lint. Paper towels make lint and lint is bad on a realistic portrait!The sheets are huge so I cut them in half then fold them, then stack in my taboret drawer. I usually just need one 1/2 sheet per painting session.These sheets are a rough cloth-like fabric, very absorbent. Good as a disposable shop rag. I also fold a full sheet in half to put under my cat’s water bowl.Apparently, the higher the X number, the rougher they are. Last year I bought the L30 because they were the smaller size but they were too linty for what I do. They are soft and the size of a wash cloth. The L30 would be awesome as disposable towels for the powder room when you have a party!! Soft enough to use on your face!May 30, 2020: Yup, time to re-up. So as I said a long time ago, I’m an artist. Not a sloppy painter but when one paints with oil paints and using solvents, you need a good absorbent clean up cloth. I paint EVERY day. I still only use 1/2 sheet per day. Yeah, there are still some left in the box but I never like to wait and substitute for a tool I need.These X-80 wipes are just as important as any tool in my studio. And lint free.

    I wanted a paper towel that is sturdy and perhaps more cost efficient to wipe, mop and throw away. Product is good but I end up using 5 so not as cost efficient as I would wish. IF the sheets were larger for what I need (mopping floor) I may find it more useful. For basic spills I still use paper towels which are more absorbent for us. I do not regret the purchase.

    Wanted some heavy disposable lint free towels to use while rehabbing some old cast iron and purchased these. They worked just fine but I have to say they are nice and thick, absorbent and can be bought in several different sizes. I used to have a stash of my husbands blue shop towls under the sink for heavy duty jobs but have decided to replace them with these. They are really great for things like draining fried foods like bacon and wiping down heavily soiled BBQ grills and just getting up large spills plus they shine up stainless steal and glass with no lint residue. The down side? They aren’t super cheap and I wish they came on a roll like paper towels, it would be easier to store them out of the box.

    Great for cleaning up spills on floor, cleaning bathroom & kitchen, soaking up carpet cleaner spots. Use to line refrigerator crisper drawers. More absorbent than paper towels. Do not use on delicate surfaces such as TV & iPad screens to avoid scratches.

    I like these towels to use when applying lubricant to my bicycle chains. It’s strong and absorbent and doesn’t fray when wiping the chain to get black gunk off after rides. Bicyclist will know what I’m talking about. Since I use wax-based chain lubes, wiping the chains off has some sticky resistance, so I needed a good towel for the task after every ride. It’s great for many other purposes, of course, such as wiping down the oily crud that gets on my lawnmower or snowblower. I confess I do cut them in half when I don’t need such a large towel, which is meant as a complement, because the towels are a generous size when that is needed. I’m very happy with them.

    I loved these towels. However, the price jumped from $23.00 then to &32.00 and now it’s jumped to $63.00!! Or higher.I will not ever buy them until they stop price gouging. We all are struggling and this makes it worse. We should all stop buying it until they lower the price.For shame!!!Kim

    These wipers are very good and durable. Each “towel” is huge, so I cut them down to the size I need. I have to clean carpets all the time, and regular paper towels just disintegrate. These don’t, even when I vigorously rub the carpet, which is what I wanted. I tried some of the other WypAll products, with less success than these. That doesn’t make the other WypAll products poorer in quality, these X80 wipes are superior for what I need. (i.e. the X40 wipes are smaller, and less durable, but they aren’t for scrubbing carpets)I also use them (full size, but folded into quarter size) for windows, at which they also excel. Bonus for windows is that they don’t get that dirty, and I dry them and then use them for something dirtier like grease, oil, cat vomit…you get the idea.

    I read a lot of reviews prior to purchasing this item. Prior to this, I had always used shop rags for working on my car. They weren’t terribly absorbent, but they were strong. After finishing off what I had on hand, decided to try WypAll X80’s because they were less expensive that getting a new stack of rags. These absolutely perform better than what I had. The absorb oil and grease very well, they do not tear or rip under normal use, and they can be dried and reused if not too dirty. I was considering the X90’s because I thought “hey, how strong can a glorified paper towel really be?”. But I’m glad to say the X80’s handle all the tasks I need them for. I’m positive that I’m done with fabric show towels for good.
