My boat had been in the lake for some 6 months. Attempts at power washing all the scum off failed, since on a trailer, you just can’t get under it good. So I ordered up the brush with the 54″ handle. Then I waded out in the lake beside it, and was able to reach most of it, getting the scum off. By using just the brush alone, I got the sides and motor better.

I have been searching for a long handled scrub brush for our big tile shower. I’ve tried two bathroom scrubbers and they were worthless. This brush has a long, fixed handle so it doesn’t loosen up and collapse like the extendable ones. I cleaned the shower yesterday and it worked great, especially on the 2″x2″ floor tiles. The brush is a sturdy nylon scrub brush and it doesn’t wiggle or swivel around while you are scrubbing. It’s just what my back and I needed!

I bought this to scrub the grout on my floor tiles. It is exactly perfect for the job. High quality firm, but not too stiff bristles, a sturdy hand, and it rinses clean in seconds. Now that I have it, I will use it to scrub the concrete outside my front door. This should handle it easily.

This scrub brush was used along with another supplied product to clean external cedar flooring of dirt, grime, mold, and the general mess one expects in a Puget Sound rainy season. Also some plastic had become almost gray yet came up yellow. After ninety minutes of heavy scrubbing – at all sorts of difficult angles – the brush head cleaned up in a trice with a water jet, and it was so clean I shared pictures of it. The other product was Murphy’s Oil Soap, which with the brush holding up to forceful scrubbing, made a chore worth a picture! NOTE that the brush still looks new, and because it IS so light, my forces were focused on the decking, not the weight of the brush – resulting in minimal wasted effort.

The brush is small enough to fit into tight spaces. The brush stays put on the handle. Much better than other wooden models where the brush comes off the handle.Great for bathroom floors.

Full Disclosure: I JUST got this, this past week, but I’ve used it once, already. It’s designed really well. The pivot on the handle is ingenious – someone who’d gotten blisters scrubbing floors had some input, here! The rubber bumpers on the sides are great – I use a smaller, plastic brush (this one) to do the edges, near woodwork, so this is perfect.I’d describe the bristles as medium stiffness.The 54″ handle is great for my 6’2″ frame.My concern with plastic brushes is, always, where the handle joins the brush, because that’s where they always fracture. This looks to be a sturdy design, and I’m not, immediately alarmed or concerned.

This was a great purchase for our deck cleaning. We built a composite deck a few years ago and it was building up a little mildew I guess it is, along the one edge that gets very little son. We got some deck cleaner with great reviews, but it just wasn’t cutting it for us, with a scrub brush we were using on our hands and knees. Well, it’s AMAZING the difference this brush made and the angel and pressure we could get on it with the handle. Worked like a charm perfectly! Money well spent and very pleased! :)
