    In a nutshell: (1) Decent quality tools for most hobbists and intermittent at-home repair of PC’s, phones, and other small electronics by capable customers without having to take items to a shop or ship to a service center. (2) A comprehensive set of tools and sizes that will handle a wide variety of disassembly and reassembly operations. (3) A great deal for the money.I removed and replaced a laptop battery that I was given a quote of $200+ for labor, PLUS the cost of the battery AND the cost and time of shipping to their service center. I figured I would purchase this tool kit for about $27 and give it a try. It enabled me to do the job in a fraction of the time, at a fraction of the cost, and with far less trouble than if I had boxed up the laptop and sent it to the service center for battery replacement. Subsequently I’ve used various other tools in the kit for repair of glasses and several other items that require these small, specialty tools for their fasteners. This is one of the best purchases I’ve made in terms of the value obtained for the money spent.

    I was a bit hesitant and was contemplating going with a much higher priced “branded” set after reading how these have stripped screws. I purchased the set anyway and quickly discovered the issue with stripping screws. I wasn’t sure the size I needed for the application I was using it for so I tried the T3 and it locked with the screw just fine. Started to twist and something didn’t seem quite right. I backed off and tried the T4. What do you know! It too locked up as if correct, but again things didn’t quite feel right when applying any twisting force.I was just about to give in and accept defeat thinking this set is exactly like the reviewers said. They aren’t right and strip things out, when I figured I’d give the T5 a try. I really didn’t think it would fit, but it did perfectly. The screwdriver even stood in the Screw on its own without falling over! I started to twist and this time a solid connection! I was able to take apart my MacBook without any issues. Didn’t even mark up the screws!!!Moral of the story, make 100% certain the tool is the right one. I could have easily stripped out my MacBook screws if I didn’t double-check. Also, the instructions I was following said a screw was a pentalobe when it was a torx and it said it was one size, when it was another. Make absolutely sure you have the right bit. Those tiny bits are hard to see fit and may feel right, but aren’t.My advice is to keep going up in bit sizes, till they no longer fit. That way you know you have the right one. If things don’t feel right backup and check again. My instructions said to use a pentalobe. It surprisingly fit in the larger torx slot.Outside of learning a lesson or two about these super tiny screws, the toolset is excellent. I haven’t used the screwdrivers as hammers or pry bars yet. I’m sure someone in my house will. Till then, I’m more than pleased with the set.

    I bought this for assembling my new PC, and it helps a lot! The over 30 screwdriver head works for all types of screw in my assembling process. I love so much for the bendable driver head, with this, I installed my cpu fan much easier than the last PC.

    For the price, you really can’t complain. The quality of the set seems pretty good. Ive seen other people in the reviews say that some bits are bent. I only got one bit that was slightly bent, and that was one of the multiple sim card ejectors. The set comes with a ton of bits and different tool that I think could get just about any job done on an electronic device. The handle has a couple options for getting in tight spaces and has a nice magnet that is quite helpful in not dropping screws. I would have liked if it would have came with a few larger Philips bits, as the ones that come with it aren’t too big which can be hard if your working on something larger, like a tv. It comes with a nice magnetic sheet which you can organize your screws with and make sure you don’t lose them. Overall, Id say, if you have the budget, go with something like I fix it, as I would expect it to be slightly better quality and maybe have more bits, but for something cheap, I think this is a great option that is very comparable in just about everything to a more expensive kit.

    This is a great screwdriver set for the price for working on electronics. I’ve used it my computer and one plus one and it works great. I did see a review that said it doesn’t work Apple devices because the star bit included in the set is not a pentalobe that Apple uses. I can say for at least my iphone XR, the 0.8 star bit that’s included works just fine. I’ve attached a picture showing the screw coming out.I only found a few cons. The screwdriver itself is not very heavy duty, the top part that you use to hold the screwdriver while turning comes off very easily (it snaps back on easily as well). Also the bits I believe are 4mm drive so they don’t fit in my existing 1/4inch bit screwdrivers. Lastly, the hard part of the Velcro on the case is on the other part when the case is fully folded out so it catches my carpet whenever you fold the whole set out.At the $25 or so I paid this is a great buy for electronic repair. It’s extremely useful for the random time you need a particular screw bit. My cabinets had robertson screw heads and having this set saved me a trip out to a big box store.

    This toolset has a great variety, especially for the price! All the bits, wedges and prybars are comparable to an iFixit kit I borrowed from a friend, and they even provide duplicates for many of the smaller bits. However, the tweezers are VERY flimsy and the screwdriver feels like it couldn’t stand up to frequent use. Both are very easy fixes, though, since the price of this kit gives plenty of room to purchase replacements later. I already used this kit to replace the battery on my Samsung Galaxy S9+, clean and reapply thermal paste to my xbox one processor, pc cpu, pc gpu and clean out my xbox one controller. All the bits and prybars are still going strong!

    I am a retired computer network engineer. I like to take things apart and put them together again. I also enjoy building projects. It seems the older I get the smaller the stuff I am working with gets.This set has lots of tools to help me work on that small stuff. I just got the set and have only used it to disassemble a cannon camera that had leaking batteries. The tools were great! Unfortunately, the camera was too badly damaged by the leaking batteries to make it worth fixing.These tools worked great for the disassembly. I look forward to using them on many other projects.

    This kit cost me $18.99 on sale for 120 bits plus everything else which is absolute steal. Even at the regular $29.99 it’s still a steal. iFixit’s largest kit has only 112 bits and is $65. So the screwdriver isn’t machined aluminum like in an iFixit kit. Who cares. Is there any wonder why they’re sending their kits to EVERY tech content creator on YouTube? Buy this and save your money.

    I purchased this kit because I had some electronics (Scala Rider Motorcycle Headsets).. that needed a new battery installed. I had fought with the fasteners on other electronics (Garmin GPS, Samsung phone, home computer) and was tired of “making due” with modifying tools I already had. I like to fix things myself- rather than just throwing otherwise good things away.This KIT was very inexpensive for the number of different tools included. The quality seems good, and the carry case is awesome.The tiny screwdriver I needed fit perfectly and I had no trouble removing the required fasteners, changing the battery, and buttoning the headset back up (yes, it works!).
