10 reviews for simplehuman Adjustable Shower Caddy, Stainless Steel and Anodized Aluminum

I really like simplehuman products. They are well made and come with a very good warranty. The installation of the item is simple and straightforward. There is a screw at the top of the caddy where the loop is, unscrew and mount it on the shower head. The caddy also comes with two clear stick-on plastic circles, which for me was excellent! Reason being, the suctions cups on the caddy were spaced in a way that they fell on the connection between tiles. I just placed the clear stick-on plastic circles on the tile and placed the suction on top, and the caddy does not move.

I had shopped around trying to find the right shower caddy. I had to return a few until I found this one. I love the fact the racks move up or down to fit different heights of shower obstacles (shower heads, faucets, hoses, etc). Since our shower head is large, I found other shower caddies don’t clear the water spray because of the large head. We are able to move the center bar as far down as we need to, which leads the racks to move down as well (not allowing the water to hit the shampoo bottles on the top rack). Since this is our basement bathroom, we don’t have tile in this shower so the suction cups on the bottom of the caddy, stays firm on our fiberglass walls and makes it very secure and doesn’t tip or sway when you take a bottle from one of the racks. The clamp on the top secures the whole caddy from slipping off the showerhead arm (another plus). I’m not sure if it rusts as some reviews say because we only had it one day. I felt the price was a little “spend-ie” although other shower caddies that don’t work are expensive, too. I don’t mind spending a little more money if it’s exactly what we need and want. I would highly recommend this product!

I’m really happy with these. I have one in each shower and they’re great for my particular issues that made normal shower caddies problematic. I have a removable shower head AND build in soap dishes that are too close to where normal caddies hang. This works for both of those issues and it is really sturdy and fantastic. In one shower we have textured tile and the enclosed adhesive tabs work well for that shower. In the other shower those aren’t needed: the suction works well too! I’m so happy to have these now… I’ve been going crazy with the variety of cheap solutions I’ve tried to employ. Spend the money: soooo worth it!

Can’t say more about this, fits perfect in my shower and holds large bottles which most shower caddys dont. It’s worth the splurge

I recently moved and my shower has absolutely no space for my things (shampoo, conditioner, face cleanser, soap, razor, et al.) unless I put them on my window sill, which would look horrible. I have an earlier version of this at a pied-a-terre my family has in NYC and I’ve always found it has a great design, so I bought it for my new place.I’ve always loved that the compartments can be moved vertically and horizontally to customize it to your needs. I’ve always kep hair products on top, face and body in the middle and soap on soap dish. I really like the new movable divider on the middle shelf as well as the new design for the soap dish, which makes the unit look less cheap (not that it did look cheap before, but it’s a nice touch). I also like the change to th loofah holder; it used to be a small metal rod sticking out and its purpose wasn’t obvious (for a while I thought it was to push the suction cup onto the wall… maybe it was). I’ve always loved the razor holders as well – found it to be a great idea when I bought my first one.Recently saw there’s an extra-large version of this and might eventually look into it. Right now I’m happy with this one, but I’ve been using the essentials in the shower – no nice body scrubs or anything that could take up space but would be nice to use once in a while. We’ll see.

If you have possible obstacles (faucet handles or built-in soap dish), there are two things you can’t adjust— the caddy post (26” tall) and the soap dish location (6” wide, and 2” above the post bottom).I didn’t want to remove the shower head to measure the diameter of the pipe. So I measured the circumference by wrapping tape (or use a strip of paper) around the pipe, marked where the ends met, then measured the tape on a flat surface. Then I divided the circumference by pi to figure out the diameter (it’s easier to use a calculator).2.5 inch circumference ÷ 3.142 pi = 0.795 diameter (roughly 3/4 inch).I traced the closed caddy hook’s opening on paper, and measured the diameter which was 3/4 inch. So it should fit.The hook opening has hard rubber around it for a snug fit. It was not easy to close over the pipe, as shown in the video, so I hesitated to use any force. I am not at all frail, but my grown son did it for me. The hook must be completely closed over the rod, before you can tighten the screw (Philips screwdriver). If you use big bottles, consider buying smaller versions of the products to save space and limit weight on the caddy shelves. The small bottles have identifying information, and you can refill them from the thrift size. Because of the caddy post, the middle of the shelves are only 3 inches deep. The ends are barely 4 inches deep. This caddy didn’t come with a toothbrush cup, as shown on the package illustration. I can’t figure out how to move the hook panel to the other side of the basket. Some reviewers posted photos of rust. I thought I had rust on a stainless-wire fruit basket, but cleaned it off with steel wool. Try a soap pad like Brillo or S.O.S. on an inconspicuous spot. If the discoloration comes off, you could get a finer #00 steel wool that won’t scratch the wire. I also take a few seconds to wipe off the water droplets around the caddy baskets, after a shower.I’ll post illustrations with measurements, so you can map out your area to see if this caddy will fit your bath.

Worth the money. This unit is huge and holds all our products. The top and middle racks are adjustable up and down. For such a large unit, it is surprisingly streamlined and doesn’t stick out into your shower space. Suction cups/adhesive stickers did not stick to our tumbled tile, and this was not a problem. The unit has the best shower neck fastener I have seen. It’s very secure. The stainless is high quality and I do not expect this unit to rust like the cheap units do.

I have never left a review for anything i’ve bought before, but THIS deserves a million stars. I am not kidding you..my boyfriend and I nearly became alcoholics over trying to find a solution shower caddy that wouldn’t take up too much space or fall off the wall from crappy suction cups that supposedly would hold a 30lb kettlebell weight. Whoever designed this deserves an award because they thought of everything. The shelves are adjustable and there is room for every bottle no matter what size. I am buying another one for my downstairs bath I love it that much. Worth every single penny!!

I will admit I balked at the price. This thing won’t clean my shower or unclog my drain; it just holds all my crap. After getting annoyed with the cheap Aldi one I had used for years, I wanted an upgrade, but eighty –One hundred times yes.Nothing has to sit on my tub edge anymore. Nothing has to sit on the floor outside the tub anymore. The bulky shampoos from Sam’s Club fit. It actually holds the newer models of razors. It holds normal bottles upside down so they don’t take extra time to dispense. It won’t be in the way of the dangling shower head connection. It adjusts in meaningful ways. It has nice holders for a bar of soap and wash cloths. It is everything shower organizers should be.Every time I use the bath/shower, I marvel at how nicely organized everything is. Where have you been all my life?

I purchase the Simplehuman Adjustable Shower Caddy Plus for $59.99 with free Prime shipping. I hated spending so much on a caddy but became frustrated with the options that cost less. This one is a winner because it accommodates 1 Liter Biolage bottles! I love how I can place them upside down and adjust the upper shelf down for a secure fit. The ability to store a washcloth also appealed to me… I can’t stand washclothes being laid on the glass shower door! The little side cubby is also great for placing those little individually packaged Venus razor blades… No more running out of the shower sopping wet to grab another!Overall, this is the high quality you would expect from this brand, and for this price. The unit installs relatively easy and stays in place. I was able to shorten it so it didn’t run into the shower faucet. The shelves adjust and lock perfectly to custom fit your specific needs. It’s classy looking and allows for so much storage.I included a photo to compare it to the one I recently returned from InterDesign. Really, there’s no comparison…
