In addition to appearance and quality we also made sure to focus on performance. The height of these stands are 36”. The reason we chose this specific height is that after testing stands at other heights we noticed this height was optimal for listening. In addition to performance we also would like to note that at 36” these stands look gorgeous! The included isolation pads not only provide a no-slip surface but help your speakers achieve superior acoustic quality.

Another really cool feature I would like to mention is the empty body design. By adding sand to the body of the stand you can increase the weight if you so choose. The load capacity of these stands are 60 lbs.

    This is a very sturdy stand and an excellent price. They look great and do exactly what you expect of them. As one reviewer already noted, run a bead of glue at the interfaces of the column and the top and bottom bases this will keep them square and together for years. I did not add sand/weight to the column as I thought they were sturdy enough as is. Very highly recommended for the purpose of free-standing your bookshelf speakers to listening height.

    they perfectly match the wood finish of my Edifier S2000pro speakers. Small base is perfect fit. They look fantastic together. At 36″ the speakers sit at ear height. Adding a picture or two later. Very happy with purchase. No problems with assembly. I agree that it would have been very easy to leave a hole top and bottom for cable management. Will add that for the powered speaker next.

    The media could not be loaded.  These Rockville stands represent the rare ‘perfect’ purchase for me. They do exactly what I need them to do, but with a quality and feature set that surpassed my expectations. They were super easy to build, requiring only a screwdriver, and the fit was tight enough that there was ZERO leakage when I filled them up 3/4 with sand. The inclusion of 2 sizes of top shelves (both large and small + extra pads and hardware for each), pretty much guarantee that they will be a good fit for your bookshelf speakers, and are easy enough to change out if you do a speaker swap in the future. The look of the stands, with their painted black sides and natural wood accents, will improve the visuals of any room. The rock-solid-stable platform they offer (once filled with sand) will greatly improve the sound of your speakers. Call me impressed!

    I have a pair of small Bowers and Wilkins bookshelf speakers that I recently purchased and had been placing them on top of other speakers. That severely limited my placement options so I started researching speaker stands and saw that these were highly rated. They were more than twice what some competing brands charged, but quality speakers deserve well built stands so I made the purchase. The stands arrived deconstructed in a box within a box, well protected and secured for shipping. Construction was a breeze even though they recommend watching a video and included an easy to follow instruction sheet. I did not need the video and honestly did not need the sheet because the construction is logical. There are two different sized top platforms to choose from depending on the size of your speaker. The assembly hardware is first rate with every screw hole perfectly drilled. Constructed fit and finish is outstanding and I find the stands secure without adding optional sand. My speakers are now free to travel around the room to suit my listening preferences and they have never sounded better. These cost more but the cost is well worth it. Five stars, highly recommended!

    These are perfect for my Bose speakers. A few notes on building them. The instructions say to attach the top first. Don’t. Start with the bottom, you’ll see why.Run a bead of wood glue around the end of the support that meets the bottom piece before you screw it in place.Next take the plastic bag the stand was wrapped with and insert it into the stand. You can now fill the bag with sand. I used plain clay cat litter because I had some on hand and it’s heavier. Tie off the end of the bag.Run another bead of glue around the top of the stand and attach the top with the 4 screws. Beautiful!
