    Almost everything you will ever need to repair cell phones, laptops, and tablets is in this case. With YouTube videos showing you how you can do repairs yourself, it has become this Zen-like addiction for me. Neighbors now ask me to repair their laptops, tablets, phones–and I calmly take them, smile, and FIX something in this crazy, mixed-up world. When I unroll my tool kit, it is an almost-holy time. A sense of calm washes over me, like that scene in The Force Awakens when Rey closes her eyes while almost getting straight-up murdered by Kylo and then re-opens her eyes and kicks his ass–and I know that I have the tools I need to fix whatever is in front of me.I would take half a star off for the screwdriver case with all the bits because the plastic clasp that holds the clear cover in place broke off on the very first day–but no. I don’t care. There is an elastic band that holds the screwdriver set in place, and the sheer joy I have received from this tool kit far, far outweighs any minor plastic engineering issue. Indeed, if I went back in time and Amazon said “Scot, this kit is available, but it is only available without Prime shipping and it costs three times as much,” I would say “Buy It Now, Amazon.”To whoever created this tool kit: thank you.

    I needed to repair the trackpad on my MacBook Pro. I found a clear video of how to do this online – but didn’t have some of the specialty screwdrivers required. I have a good set of small task screwdrivers but this was a three point head (not sure of the right name but a phillips screwdriver has 4 wings/points – this only has three). This set has the size names for each bit but also an image which helps in quickly finding what you need. Since the screws I had to remove are the smallest I have ever seen it did help to have the magnetized socket around the bit. My repair was successful and I’m sure I’ll be using this set of tools again. I had priced the repair and it would have been around $150. It took me about 30 minutes to fix it and the less than $25 this kit cost.

    Really good quality set of tools which are absolutely essential when it comes to working on laptops or smartphones. A wide variety of bit types to handle many of the proprietary screws one finds in smartphones. The screwdriver bits are made of high quality metal and do not chip, bend under torque. A wide assortment of other tools make delicate opening of laptops and smartphones easy. Screwdriver handle fits comfortably in the hand and the bit fits snug in the handle.

    This kit has everything you will need to repair any piece that you can buy for your iPhone. I have not tried to fix an Android, so I cannot speak to that. I have replaced over 8 screens (on different phones) a ear speaker, 4 charging ports and everything on 1 iPhone.The pieces are good quality too. Due to the small heads on the iPhone screws, it’s pretty easy to strip out screwdrivers that come with some of the items. After all those replacemens, there is still no signs of wear on any of the tips.If you repair small electronics on a regular basis, I highly recommend this kit.

    This toolkit is well made. The grips/handles of each tool are easy to hold onto and manipulate. The case is organized and every tool has a place that is easy to get to and replace without needing to sort through Sublayers or fumble through multiple items to retrieve the one you want. The selection of tools takes care of 90% of all my needs working on everything from my computers, phones, drones, eyeglasses, small appliances, etc.

    I used the screwdriver and one of the blue pry tools to get into my laptop quite easily. This kit had the appropriate type and size of driver head, and I assume it will work for just about any laptop given the number of heads that it comes with. I was able to remove all nine screws without any damage to the screw heads, so I’m not worried about stripping them with this tool, even over time. I also found the magnetic tip was very helpful for getting the screws in and out. This driver feels very light, but I was surprised by the quality of the extension rod and coupler, which still manage a very solid connection. The only negative I can think of is that the tray holding the screwdriver and heads is made of very flimsy plastic, but the case overall is well made, which is more important to me. Overall I am impressed by this set considering the price and as long as it holds up I would consider it to be a good value.

    Recently I needed to do a complete tear down of a WII, and quickly discovered it required tools that I did not have. This kit has high quality tips for a wide range of small to very small screws and nuts of various kinds, including the tri slotted screws, as well as plastic tools for removing phone screens. And the price is great! Highly recommended

    Buy this. If you’re going to replace an iPad screen or take apart and put together some tiny electronic device, you must buy this kit. It was a life saver for me and I am really thankful I didn’t trust the tools coming with my replacement parts. These tools are high quality and durable. The kit is also complete with lots of different types, shapes and sizes of tools to help you get out of a bind. Do yourself a favor and buy this, especially if you’re doing an iPad screen replacement. Just do it.

    I have had this now for well over a year, and it is, in my opinion, great. If you have an item that this set does not have a bit for, then sell it. Cause I have failed over the past year to find anything that this set did not have a bit for from the smallest slot, phillip, torx, etc., bit to the strangest bit.Yes, there will be some items that you might have a problem disassembling with the plastic tools since there are some strangely made items in this world. But for the price and for the massive assortment of bits and plastic pieces it is a thousand times better than one of those jeweler kits that have about six tools.
