   FINALLY – I have found the one. I am embarrassed to announce how many collars I have been through, looking for the perfect one – more than 5. I have a 2 year old dachshund, a 15 lb. little guy. It’s in his nature to run, and when he reached 6 months, it became apparent that his habit of exploring across the street and into our woods, was going to need to be tamed or else he might get badly hurt, or worse – every dog parents’ worst nightmare. He just turned 2, and it took me until now, many electric collars later, to find exactly what I have been searching for, for a year and a half. Many receivers that I have tried out are WAY to big – that has been my biggest pet peeve, as my dog is so small. This collar / receiver is flush to the neck, the smallest I have seen, AND it works just as the ad claims. I bought the Lite – 300 yd. version as I live on a lot of land, and I am SO THRILLED! I have bought small receivers before where they claimed to work as far away from the remote as 1000 feet, and they only worked 20 feet. So, I was very worried this may be the same case, but FINALLY, it was not. This small receiver works as far as it says it should. The waterproof feature is crucial for safety – and I am so impressed that the remote is also waterproof. The battery life is amazing and the product just overall really pleases me. Worth the money, and I wish I had come across it sooner. Also, I have found with my little dog, that all that is necessary when it comes to using the functions on the remote collar, is the tone and vibrate function. Many times that is all you need to get their attention, and as mentioned before, electric collar training has saved my boy’s life! Highly recommend, do not be a skeptic! Also always try the functionality of the collar out on yourself first. I placed a single finger across the prongs and tested the vibrate mode, and all 8 levels of the shock available on the Lite version of the receiver. I am very happy with my purchase, and I am sure my little guy is please with not having a giant, clunky, receiver hanging from his neck. The Lite version is very appropriate for small dogs who have a tendency to wander!UPDATE: I’d recommend not getting the “Lite” version and just getting the regular version. The shock and vibrate isn’t strong enough for my 15 lb. dachshund. Thankfully he listens to the “tone” feature.

   We bought this for our 6 month old Bernedoodle 2 years ago. It worked great, that is until the collar wouldn’t turn on. It is broken. It should last longer than 2 years. It broke a week after our Product support expired.****UPDATED**** I contacted customer service and they replaced the collar. Fantastic service!

   I bought this for my 6lb dog who is too small for most behavior correcting collars. This collar was able to be adjusted to fit his neck. The unit itself fits well, and it isn’t too big for him, although it is too heavy proportionally to rest on the side of my dog’s neck.Prior to first use, I tested it on my own hand, and I first felt it at a level 2, feeling minor discomfort at 3, so I only use it up to a 3 on him. I appreciate that it has a strong vibration for level 0 because that often gets his attention without bringing in the tens unit.We are at a point that if I put the collar on him, he does not act up, but he also wags his tail in excitement. He seems to associate the collar with times he is a good boy, so he tends to be calmer and thus get more attention.Overall, it’s really a great investment in training my stubborn boy.

   We live in a senior community and I chose a schnauzer‼️ Yes I know schnauzers bark. To help teach our 3 yr old baby girl to not bark, this device is awesome. Especially I don’t have to worry about giving the other residence a ❤️ attack.I only use shock at #3 and only let it buzz her a tiny. I don’t use it any higher, because my purpose was for bark control. Sometimes we can just put it on her and NOT use the shock, she is faked out.Glad nobody is dying of heart attacks when the elevator opens

   We have 2 dogs that were/are in need of a bit of extra training help. We mostly are using it for over excessive barking and going on walks. Great to be able to have BOTH collars on the 1 remote. Makes training both dogs at the same time much easier. Highly recommend this product.

   So this is our second set of yard training collar and remote. The first set we had for eight or nine years. So we knew that we wanted to get another set like what we had. It was a little different but not much and did the same thing. This is a great company to deal with. Petsafe lives up to its name.

   I have scoured the internet looking for a decent shock collar. I have two dogs, and had one on an older pet safe collar, and then always had the other one on a leash because she was a puppy.My old petsafe one had replaceable batteries. (Not a fan-Love the collar- hate how much we had to replace the batteries.) We only have it on the dogs to take them outside, or if company is coming over they get a little jumpy and the collar keeps them in check real quick.My other Petsafe collar let my older dog meet dogs because on a leash she attacks them, on the collar she just kinda whines a little and sniffs them.I like this one a lot more for a couple reasons. I like that the remote lights up for outside after dark. I like the material of the collar it seems a lot cleaner. I LOVE having rechargeable batteries! I like that I can use one remote for two dogs. AND MY FAVORITE PART…… “the puppy” I still call her that, gets way more freedom and gets so excited to go outside. She doesn’t hang her head like when we put the collar on her. She hears the beep from turning the collar on and sits down with a wagging tail.I still do leash to cross streets and stuff. We will get there, I wouldn’t have thought my older one would be where she is at because of a petsafe collar. The puppy now gets to run so much more. She is still learning where to go and what to do with the Audio beep but after a week she knows that she should be at my heel if she hears it. At first she would almost run the opposite direction.I pretty much only use the beep or audio tone. They know if they hear the little beep the next time won’t be a beep. I next go to vibrate and have only once had to go past that to a level 2. I like the vibrate it is almost pleasant, but kinda surprise to them, I did it on myself before I put it on my dog.The shock isn’t fun obviously, but kinda the point.It is also important to make sure the collar is on the dog correctly. If it is too loose it won’t work properly, but PLEASE make sure it isn’t two tight. It isn’t like a normal collar. I like to think that it needs to be snug like a baby in a carseat, two finger rule, but a little looser than that.The max my dogs have them on would be an hour or two, depending on the kind of walk we go on. Typically it is only about 20 minutes twice a day. I am pretty sure we paid $170.00 for the old one that was 100 yards, non rechargeable and doesn’t light up. This one which was $120.00 was way worth it! 300yards and I can’t wait to get the second collar…. I might be updating my review after that.

   I purchased this product for a new puppy we have. She was familiar with the Pet Safe wireless fence and the beep it makes before the static shock. This has the exact same tone and usually that was enough to correct undesirable behavior, eating toilet paper, plants, shoes and jumping. No batteries to purchase as it is rechargeable. I liked that. It was so effective we rarely have to use it. It has a wide range of static shock levels and we always used the lowest effective level if the tone did not work.

   I love this product, my dog did not. However after using it 4 or 5 times the dog was obeying commands and listening like she never did before. Now the dog wants to wear the collar every time she leaves the house. It’s become a bit of a security blanket for her.

    Within one week of using this, our dog stopped barking at every single little thing… we noticed huge changes. We rarely would use the zapper part too. We just use the noise most of the time. We have a pretty small yard, but he would bark at cars, neighbors, birds, EVERYTHING. Now he rarely barks and we can give him one warning beep and that puts an end to it. Worth every single penny.
