Wow all reviews for this product is mixed… Mostly good… I was hesitant to buy this a few years ago. I think the reviews may be due to differing body chemistries of each dog. But I took a gamble and purchased and tried it and watched my doggie very closely. No reactions and so I continued with my next two dogs. No reaction. And may I say it is fantastic!! Are use less than they require dosing wise, and I have not seen a flea in years! It even lasts twice as long as they say… I’m allergic to fleas but this has been a lifesaver!

My veterinarian’s receptionist told me about this product when I was unable to afford the FRONTLINE treatments the doctor recommended. She told me that the ingredients were identical and to think of it the same was I would when opting for a generic equivalent at the pharmacy. Because my dog has such an acute case of flea allergies I was more than a bit skeptical to try it, to say the least! It arrived quickly and I applied it as directed at the end of winter, just before our flea season began, and then I waited….and waited…and waited. I always re-apply this type of medication 1-2 weeks early to avoid any lapse in protection and when it was time to re-apply, I was thrilled to realize there hadn’t been a single itchy, scratchy, sleepless night caused by Sir Chancelot’s flea-caused misery. This stuff REALLY WORKS just as well as the “name brand” and as you can see, the price is something all of us can afford!

I love this product. I have been using it for 10 years OR MORE with no problems, I have used it on both my large breed dogs, my Rottweiler and my Mastiff, sence they were puppies. and I just got another large breed puppy so I just bought some more..I used to use the expensive frontline. but this works Great for me at half the price. and I see no difference..I read some comments about different states having more problems etc..I don’t know about that, but I life out here in California, out of the city, surrounded by mountains with lots of trees, grass, dirt. and wildlife everywhere..

I have used Advantix for years but the fleas were exceptionally bad this year (Northern CA). It seemed like I was having to reapply every 3 weeks. We have a number of rescue dogs and it was getting really expensive. I searched other options and based on the reviews decided to try this. It works awesome. I have not had to reapply yet. Originally bought for the small dogs but then purchased for large outdoor dogs. Great experience across the board. Thanks everyone for the reviews.

Put this on my dog and 3 weeks later we went out in the country to play. I stayed in the short grass while she ran all over the place. When we got home I had 5+ ticks on me and she had 0.

I used Frontline for years and it worked well, but then they started jacking up the price and I started looking around for something else. Thankfully, I found this product which works just as well as Frontline for about half the price – why? Because it is EXACTLY the same thing. 9.8% fipronil for adult fleas and 8.8% (s)-methoprene for larvae and eggs. I have been using this product on 2 dogs and 1 cat, I live out in the country where lots of wild critters share their fleas with everything that moves and my animals have zero fleas and ticks year round. I highly recommend this product as a year round treatment.

After using Frontline Plus on my dogs for many years, I purchased PETARMOR Plus a year ago from a big box store when it was on available onine at a sale price. It has worked exactly like the name brand product that it was replacing so there was no reason to purchase another product and because Amazon gets this to me in two days at a reduced cost to boot, this is the product I’ll continue purchasing. Unlike most people, I squeeze one tube of the liquid into an amber glass vial and measure out the amount needed for each dog according to the PETARMOR information for their weight. The amount of ingredients are the same proportionally in any of their dosage tubes, so I save a few dollars by using this approach. I do wear disposable gloves and dispose of the pipette I use for applications. This product is effective for us for long haired dogs of assorted sizes and has provoked no reactions other than eliminating ticks and fleas. I have very rarely found a dead tick on the floor if the landscapers have not shown up on schedule or we have been hiking in the woods, but I’ve yet to see a live tick or flea anywhere in the house. I consider this an excellent option at an affordable price and the dogs thank me daily by not scratching or biting at little critters on their skin. There is no expiration date on the box so I called the company to get that information. It is now June of 2018 and the box I received was manufactured on January 30, 2018. Per the customer service representative, it will remain fully effective for at least three years from that date.

I’ve used Pet Armor Plus year round for about 4 years now on my jumbo sz service dog and we live in an area where the ticks are out of control the last 2 years. It has worked exactly as well as Frontline Plus and I’ve saved so much money. My dog runs in high grass fields, about 80 acres of woods, swims and basks on the grass all day, every day. And I check him many times a day for fleas and ticks. Never seen any on him. I would never subject my service dog to dangerous chemicals and I would pay for the more expensive flea and tick prevention if this didn’t work.

This works every bit as well as the Frontline brand, for a fraction of the cost. We live in a rural area of northern Minnesota, with lots of forest and lakes. The ticks here are out of control, but this product works great on our two small dogs — they haven’t had a single tick all year! Now, if they could only make it for people.

This stuff has been working great for my Greyhound. It’s a generic form of Frontline Plus.
