Product was worth every dollar spent. Excellent product. Couldn’t be happier and satisfied with the superb quality.

I’m particularly sensitive to any sort of input delay, and even used a high refresh rate camera to try to detect any noticeable delay between my laptop running at 144hz with 1ms delay and this projector. It truly works as advertised, and if used with a PC you’ll experience lower input latency than you would with a standard TV (or even a decent gaming monitor) with a console. Picture looks great indoors and outdoors, it really only meets acceptable levels for use outdoors around sunset give or take about 15 minutes depending on where it’s being used.Things to know:This is truly an extremely short throw, if you’re not using a ceiling mount, you either need a relatively tall and high projector screen or you need to keep it a few inches from the ground. Do not tip the projector itself. This projector puts out a LOT of heat in a relatively short amount of time but does not noticeably increase in heat after the first few minutes. You’re going to want an external speaker. I did not buy this intending to use the built-in speaker, and it was not loud enough to easily hear quieter dialogue in movies even while indoors while watching with just one other person. This isn’t the most adjustable projector in the world, but again, the bang for your buck is fantastic if you’re looking to put in just a little effort making sure you’ve set it up correctly and keep in mind some of its inherent quirks. You’re going to want a ceiling mount for the sake of the device and to use it to its full ability. I don’t have one currently because I intend to use it in multiple places and I’m renting my home and can’t put one in.For your money, this is probably one of the best all-around projectors, especially if you intend to play games competitively either online or with friends. I’ve had no problems playing Marvel Vs Capcom, Overwatch, Tekken 7, or Super Smash Bros Ultimate.

I previously owned a projector from a lesser known brand that I bought from a dude on eBay (well, I mean, I still do, but you know what I mean); and it was fine, it served it’s purpose well, particularly when it was completely dark. Then one day my cheap projector screen, which purported to be 100″, just kept falling (my fault. It was basically a sheet with grommets that I was hanging from the ceiling with command hooks), so I bought a new one that was entirely self contained within it’s own stand. Well, that one, despite being advertised as the same size, was actually a lot bigger than the other one, and there was basically nowhere in my entire apartment where I could put that projector and have it fill that whole screen. So I knew the time was right to invest the money into a short throw projector. And holy crap does this have a short throw. The 100″ screen I recently got is maybe 6-8 feet in front of me – and to fill the whole screen the projector has to be in front of me too. I tried to place it next to the couch and zoom out but just couldn’t get the right angle on it. The image quality is light years beyond my previous projector, and paired with my sound bar it’s like being at the movies, but on my couch. After I got it, I ordered the AEW pay per view and invited my drummer over. He walked in the living room and said, “are we at the movies?” So yeah, while it may be a bit pricier than I like to pay for… well… anything at all, really, if you have a small space but still want that theater experience, I definitely recommend this projector.

Short distance is perfect for me. Very sharp for video and gaming. Video shows what/how is steaming = Netflix is clear on Firefox but other steamers not so. Gaming is fantastic for my games which are not the shoot, run, shoot, run to another spot etc..etc. Command & Conquer Series, Railroad, Sports.. I REALLY like it. Spent many hours researching and for less than $900 with short distance = perfect!!

My use case for this wasn’t gaming despite this unit being heavily marketed to gamers. I read a review online that placed this unit as the best all-around outdoor/backyard movie projector. I agree, it is, it’s FANTASTIC. You can buy projectors with even more brightness (I have seen 6000 lumens for $2,800, but I’m a flashlight nerd and can tell you the difference between this units 3800 lumens and 6000 lumens isn’t as much as you think. In other words, the juice isn’t worth the squeeze.)After doing some research I found out that you want a SHORT THROW projector like this one for outdoor inflatable movie screens. The reason for this is because this unit will put up a 120 inch image at just 4 feet! The closer the projector is to the screen, the brighter it is. I paired this with my 20 foot Khomo Gear inflatable movie screen and the results were MAGICAL. We watched Star Wars (A New Hope), Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and The Empire Strikes Back. The projector produces beautiful deep blacks and rich blues, greens, and reds. My backyard movie setup has the projector sitting BEHIND my inflatable screen instead of in front of it (it’s a 2-way projection screen). Typically this configuration requires more light since the light needs to penetrate through the cloth screen. This projector had zero problems doing this at greater than 15 feet away! It’s a legit 3800 lumens and looks really good. You get what you pay for.Don’t believe what people tell you about buying a cheap projector for your backyard movie watching. I bought a GooDee (they measure brightness in lux which is a marketing trick, you need lumens) and was very disappointed with the picture. This is because the GooDee and similar projectors aren’t short throw projectors and don’t produce the necessary lumens you’ll need for a great picture (let alone the resolution). If you want the cheap 1970s drive-in feel, the GooDee is fine, but any nice high definition movie will need a projector of this specification at a minimum to produce an acceptable outdoor image. You can find many projectors that kill this one too, but for the money, I can’t recommend it enough.

Love this projector. Sharp 1080p image. Not quite as bright as I thought it would be but still very bright. Definitely not usable in the daytime. If you know how to use the settings you can get an amazingly colorful and deep contrast.
