This broom has been subject to some intense research and development. The broom picks up dog hair without a problem and dust is swept up and accumulates on the end of the bristles making it easy to remove. As good as the broom is the dust pan is even better. The dust pan is designed to make a leak proof seal with the flooring, one sweep and it all goes in the dust pan. No need to pick the pan up and sweep the leftovers again, I never thought I’d offer a review of a broom but this combination is fantastic.

The broom is made of extremely durable material. The bristles are strong and so far haven’t bent out of shape from use. The dustpan has a piece that you step on when it’s on the floor. This flattens the pan and holds it in place so you can remain standing. Bending over to do that task has always been awkward. The dustpan also has a comb for the broom. This added feature has been extremely useful in my house as we have a Siberian Husky and a German Shepherd – 2 big time shedders.

Normally I don’t get too excited about brooms. I mean, it’s a broom, right? I’ve had good experiences with O-Cedar in the past with their mops, and needed a broom for quick pick-ups around the house (we have a dog and a few small kids, lots of messes). 🐕 🧒It comes packaged in a nice small box, and the handle screws together very securely in three pieces. Once you screw them together, you’d never know it came in multiple pieces – very sturdy. The handle is long and is a nice metal, not plastic. ✅Like the description says, the bristles are pretty unique with that V-shape on the bottom. It really does seem to work WAY better than previous cheapo brooms I’ve used that always seem to leave debris for a fourth or fifth pass. This Pet Pro broom picked up basically everything on the first pass. 🥇The dust pan is pretty cool too – it has a rubber liner on the bottom that ensures little pieces don’t go under the pan. Also has these little combs at the back to grab hair out of the broom bristles, and you don’t have to bend down to use it, just step on it with your foot. 🦶🏼I can’t really think of anything I’d like it to do that it doesn’t… for under $20, you can’t really go wrong here. I’d definitely recommend it! 👌🏼

I always thought a broom was a broom and there was no difference in each difference in brooms until I bought this one this one. It is amazing I’m able to reach inside corners that I’ve never been able to sweep in before cause my old broom could get in them. The angled bristles make it easier to sweep behind my toilet and in between the washer and dryer.Overall I love this room so glad I decided to get it and I love the dust pan aswell… don’t have to bend over and hold it anymore, or get my daughter to hold it for me!

We live in an apartment with very large floors and they are all tile. This broom, having a WIDER HEAD REALLY HELPS in sweeping up in general! Our old broom we is O-cedar also; we use the old broom for outside patio sweeping and our sidewalk now and this is our indoor broom, it is EXCELLENT!

Five stars for the broom, no stars for the dust pan. How can a dust pan be so non-functional? Especially when it comes with a broom that sweeps up even the finest dirt particles? The dust pan cannot handle small particles at all — they just get swept under. So you have to try sweeping the little particles over and over into the dust pan until you realize that nothing will get them into the pan. So go buy the OXO Good Grips dust pan, keep the O-Cedar Angler broom, and throw away the ridiculous dust pan that comes with the broom.

This is the best broom I’ve ever had! It has black bristles on 1 side to pick up big debris & gray bristles on the other side that picks up finer/smaller debris such as dog/pet hair. It’s very sturdy & the dustpan gets everything in one swipe! You will never regret buying this broom. 1 issue I had was the plastic that was taped around the bottom. It took me 20 min to get all the stickyness off the handle from the tape that was holding the plastic on it. It could have been taped around it without being taped onto the handle. I just wanted to add that hoping that maybe they will fix that issue. Other than that, this O Cedar broom/dustpan set is the bomb!!!

Red, red, red…what can I say…It matches my kitchen. I got this one again because of the missing dust pan! Long/short a great dust pan…I had contractors out doing this and that ended up missing my dust pan…humm…so I looked for another one every where. Then decided to try Amazon..low and behold I ordered another one but as a set. This will last for years to come (as long a you keep up with it-smile). I wasn’t disappointed before and pretty sure I will not be with this one. Except now I have 2 brooms and one dust pan that I’m keeping my eyes on this time. Loved, loves, still loving this product…sturdy, lasting and it’s “RED” for me it was worth purchasing again. Oh I could’ve gotten just a dust pan by the way but it was cheaper getting as a set…just my preference. I think this product will be here when I’m long gone.

Since I can’t walk due to MS, I can ride the front wheel up on the handle & sweep the dirt into the dust pan without it moving. Then I pick it up & dump it into the trash can. That gives me a feeling of independence that I didn’t have before. Anyone handicapped will understand.

I knew this broom was going to be good because it’s by O-Cedar – wow, it’s the best broom I’ve ever used! It just glides across the floor, picking up all the crud on the floor!!! It got things off the floor that my old broom didn’t. It’s so nice that I’m ordering another one. I would recommend this broom!!
