Diva380 –
I have wanted a Ninja Blender/Food Processor for YEARS, but couldn’t afford to buy one until this year. I needed to replace my NutriBullet blenders (one old and one semi-used; both of them no longer working properly), and I needed a good food processor. I saw this marked down here on Amazon and found I could finally afford it.The biggest plus is that the blades come out of the pitcher and food processor bowls. This makes it easier to scrape food and liquid out of them without worrying about damaging the blades, which you have to worry about in a Vitamix blender. Super annoying, but not with the Ninja. Plus, they’re easier to store away precisely because you can take them apart and store them even in small spaces.Cons: I wish it came with more cups, but I can buy those on eBay. I also wish the cups had completely closed lids or flip lids like the NutriBullet cups do. I’d like to store away leftover drinks for later without worrying about the cups tipping over. I also wish that they had cups available for this model that are larger than 16 oz. None of the 24 oz or 36 oz cups that I find elsewhere will fit on this model. Maybe Ninja will fix all these issues in the future. (Or maybe they already have fixed SOME of this and I just need to research it.)Anyway, I’ve already made a few smoothies and chopped up some veggies for some stir fry. I have yet to make dough or any baked goods, but I’m sure that will be easy to do compared to doing it by hand like I have been for awhile. Can’t wait to use this for Holiday cooking!

Tried it out this weekend and made hummus! Loved it! Has lots of power too. The blades are deadly, so please be careful when handling and washing them!

Some say that it noisy. Yea, it is. Physics my friend. Power is noisy. This has power…. I wanted the dumber ( less presets and electrical controls), and lots of blending power. Well, this fit the bill.Power. Simple. Blends great. Powerful motor should last.If you want quiet, get something wimpy, then buy another one in a couple of years.Plastic and dishwasher heat really don’t mix for longevity. This applies to 99% of modern kitchenware. Wash it by hand promptly after use. It will last.Blades are sharp. All cleans well. All three vessel sizes have their place. I’m not dissatisfied in any way.If you like my review, then click so.

This is actually a back-up/ parts machine for the exact same model purchased 4 years ago. We have worked that first BL770 machine hard, twice a day, every day liquefying table food for Gtube feeding a medical involved child. ( Read: It has to take ANYTHING and blend it as fine and smooth as possible). That first unit is still running strong but after thousands of uses, the large pitcher and cover have some cracks. I figured we love the machine so much that it was cost effective to buy the whole kit again vs replace just the pitcher and cover (at near $100) . Now we should be good for the next decade!

This is, by leaps and bounds, the best designed and built blender ever!It is high powered, mixed beautifully, and does things no other blender can. It MAKES COOKIE DOUGH!!!The two large pitchers don’t just have blades on the bottom, but a whole column of blades running through the center of the pitcher. The wide pitcher also has a mixing only column with no sharp blades on it. There are a variety of options for power, speed, etc. The base has 4 suction cups to hold it in place, and 2 release tabs for when you’re done. All of the lids attach securely. There will be no accidental spills.Warning – this is a 1200 watt blender. It is NOT quiet. At my apartment, friends hear it running from outside in the parking lot. But it is Awesome!!

I like this product –I have only had for 2 weeks. Here are the-PROS:1. One base for a blender AND food processor, great space saver for small kitchen2. Strong motor for blending ice (frappucinos came out great)3. Lots of parts—small cup for individual serving4. Large pitcher makes a nice batch of pureed soup.5. Huge center blade really gets the job done6. Plastic as opposed to glass (yes I broke my Cuisinart pitcher)CONS:1. VERY loud2. Top has opening for emulsions ( I make mayonnaisse) BUT it is TOO big & splashes all over the kitchen3. Handle (of my daughter’s) got food stuck inside, & it’s not easy to get out. I hope that will not happen to mine. All in all, I like it so far, but will see if I burn it out w/my almost daily usage.

Wow where do I start. Im the type of person that always reads reviews and does my homework b4 buying anything especially anything electronic. When this unit came I unpackaged it from the box which was double boxed in shipping the packaging was amazing I Think you could have thrown it over an embankment and it wouldnt have a scratch on it. About the blender and the processor. Its been quite some time since I have purchased a good one oh yeah I have one of the Hamiltn beach ones but Omg I was blown out of the water on this set it will pulverize anything you put in it . Never seen cuttung blades designed like this b4 they will cut and yes they are sharp like a razor so be careful I cut myself the first time I cleaned it up but now I let it just air dry much safer lol. The dough blades in the processor are my favorite I make buttermilk buiscuts alot for breakfast and you talk about fast put all my ingredients in shut the lock lid and push the dough button and pow its done dump it out on my counter cut them out bake them and have great buiscuts.Did I mention this set comes with locking lids for saftey wonderful love them. And the base has a suction cup on bottom that stays on the counter right where you put it . I am overall Very Pleased with this set and was well worth the money with shipping on amazon and everything you can’t touch this set anyplace else for this price Especially the 1500 Watt unit beleive me I did my homework lol. It is very POWERFUL. YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED ITS WELL BUILT.

Less expensive than the other “premium” blenders in this power range, but with more accessories! I was debating on whether I bought this or the Vitamix or the Blentec. I’ve compared and compared. I’ve asked friends and family and finally decided that I don’t need my blender to heat the food that it’s blending, I just need it to blend it. I also know I wanted to make smoothies, and look at that, this came with TWO smoothie cups. I also wanted a food processor and WOW! This Ninja comes with an attachment for that as well! So between saving a couple hundred dollars AND getting accessories I desired, this was the top choice for me.

I’ve owned a LOT of blenders. I tend to wear them out. I’ve also been cooking (with a culinary degree) for over 40 years. I bought this when my I was forced (due to allergies) into giving up animal products, dairy, and eggs, and had to make my own soy milk and products.I was a bit wary of the negative reviews. I know things can happen. But I am so glad I got this blender. It processes nuts and soybeans into milks without any trouble.Yes, it’s noisy. It has a big motor. However, it doesn’t have that high-pitched whine that some of the cheaper blenders (the $20 ones you get at the mega stores) have, so it doesn’t seem as noisy.I’ve had no trouble with this at all. Cleaning is a breeze and I bought some brushes to get the blades with. I’ve had no problem with anything getting where it is not supposed to go. I love the pour spout in the top; it’s very convenient. The food processor attachment replaced a worn out food processor and now I have less appliances taking up my counters. It works like a charm and does hummus beautifully.PS: 6 months later. Still going strong! I use this for everything. Vegan butter (and the oil washes off the plastic!), nut milks and butters, smoothies, vegan cheese, “cashew cream” which I use as a thickener in soup, mirepoix/bouillon, spreads, homemade condiments (even those that need to be emulsified), bread dough, hummus, and so forth. I can honestly say I use my blender at least a dozen times a week and the food processor a bit less. I’ve had no problems with it at all and cleanup is easy.I do wish there was a glass blender jar for doing hot items like soups. It would also be nice to have a lid for the food processor that has an opening to add ingredients. But, even without those, it’s still a great product.Update: two years later and it is still going strong, and I use it a lot!

The media could not be loaded. I was confused between Nutribullet and Ninja. Nutribullet is much nicer esthetically but Ninja came with food processor with additional kneading option so I picked Ninja. I have attached pictures and videos of kneading dough of Desi bread making at home Roti. It kneaded perfect dough in seconds. It is a powerful machine.I have tried both Ninja and Nutribullet for making smoothies from frozen fruits and little bit fluid. You have to struggle with both. But they do blend well. End result is perfect.
