I owned the same freezer in my former home. Thinking I no longer needed it when I relocated to another state, I gave it away. Of course, I needed a small freezer right-away. For the price, it works very well for me. I bought plastic stackable baskets that fit side-by-side three rows deep. It is an easy way to keep it organized & easy to access what is in the bottom.

We’ve been using this freezer chest for several months now, and a couple of observations:- It works as advertised, with no regrets or concerns- It holds temperature well (measured with a digital thermometer placed inside)- The dial-range adjustment is extreme, so I would recommend one purchases a separate thermometer and place it inside. That will allow you to accurately adjust for your desired temperature.- The aluminum-lined insulated interior is not meant to withstand the weight of normal-weight-range Thanksgiving turkeys, so either pick another storage location, or place them more genitally then I had done. Yes, I’ve slightly dented the inside of the unit, but not so much to impact it’s capability.No regrets, as it allows me to store 3 LARGE turkey’s purchased at low-cost during Thanksgiving, for later cooking and enjoyment for another 11 months. Wow!Lastly, my electric bill has not seen any huge spike, so while I can’t speak to a specific utility usage, it appears very efficient to me.

Received delivery on the 7 cubic foot model of this freezer three weeks ago, and it’s been working great. I have it in the garage where it varies between 60-80F and have been monitoring power use with a Kill-a-Watt. When running it pulls just 70 watts. In one week it consumed 3.8 kilowatts. At our utility rate that’s only $25/year for electricity — nice!!The drain plug is a nice feature, will make defrosting much easier. Lid stays up when raised – makes my life easier when I need to rummage to the bottom of the pile. So far I have nothing but positive things to say for this unit.

Wow! AMAZING! This is bigger than I imagined. It arrived in perfect condition, not a single dent on it. The company may have improved the packaging after all the bad reviews it has received. The packaging was amazing!!!!! Nicely padded. The delivery was great, handled with care. I put a gallon of water to give others an idea of how much you can fit. It fits ALOT of food. I am very very happy I made this purchase even after reading all of the bad reviews it received. Also DO NOT OUT IT IN YOUR GARAGE. It needs to stay in a room at a certain temperature. Indoors is perfect. Look through the amazon feed back for details. I wouldSay ignore all of the previous reviews about it being damaged. The company has clearly stepped it up with the packaging. AMAZING!!! I love it!! BUY IT IF YOU NEED IT! I bought it because I want to avoid the many trips to the store during this pandemic. THANK YOU AMAZON!!!!!!!

I purchased this freezer almost three years ago to hold our portion of a pig we had butchered- which was roughly 75lbs worth of assorted cuts of pork. The freezer arrived on time and did not have any dents unlike some of the ones I’ve seen reviewed. The freezer was the perfect size for the portion of meat we bought and has continued to serve us as regular freezer storage since then. It’s sturdy without being too bulky and has survived two moves in the last three years completely unscathed. Very happy with this purchase and have recommended this freezer to others looking for a decent chest freezer that will fit well in a small (>1200 sq ft) apartment and last for years.

This is a great cheat freezer that is a good price, functional, effecient, and quiet. Here’s the things I noticed that you might want to consider.Organization: not easy to organize the inside. I’ve struggled with finding boxes, crates, shelves, etc to keep the inside from being a big pile. Don’t have a great solution. I think milk crates might help.Bottom condensation: placed the unit on a low-pile carpeted room to find a month later that it was soaking wet. Moved the unit to hardwood to find the puddles and stains about 3 weeks later. I keep the unit in my kitchen now and had to purchase an under sink mat to catch the condensation and keep it from ruining my floor. Not a big deal and a standard 34″x22″ under sink mat fits great.

We found this freezer during the height of the pandemic when it seemed everyone was buying everything. I had wanted a deep freezer for a long time since we have a family of 5 and are frequently hosting our family for dinner to BBQs. I was afraid this was going to arrive damaged from all of the other reviews I have seen on here. It was in perfect condition. I was able to open and get it set up myself without any help. (I did have the FedEx guy bring in it the house instead of leaving it on the porch.)For three months now it has been working perfectly and a great asset to our household.

We like to cook so we needed a freezer and after reading hundreds of reviews for various sizes and models on Amazon we chose this unit. It had a good number of reviews (over 500) and less than 10% were 1 star. The unit was delivered yesterday. First thing I did was inspect the packaging from the outside to make sure there did not appear to be damage as others have indicated. All looked OK so I removed the carton and inspected the unit. Again, no damage. I picked up the freezer (it is not all that heavy and I am in my 60s) and put it where I wanted in my garage. As is recommended by all refrigerator / freezer manufacturers, I let the unit “settle” for two hours before plugging it in. After the siesta I plugged it in and set the temperature control about 3/4ths of the way to MAX. Within an hour or so the temperature was below 32 so I put about a dozen jars of frozen food, a few pounds of frozen butter, some frozen bread, etc. into the unit. A few hours later the internal temperature was -8 F. Perfect. I have no complaints AT ALL about this unit and highly recommend it.

The freezer arrived in perfect condition, despite obvious bangs and tears to the shipping container which worried me when I read other reviews. It cooled down immediately and has been keeping everything inside frozen solid since being plugged in shortly after being unpacked. It runs silently and gives off no heat whatsoever. The size I bought is almost too large for me, a single person, but the size smaller would have probably been too small. This freezer now enables me to purchase more frozen foods and meats on sale that I used to have to avoid because I did not have the room in the refrigerator freezer. This is a wonderful freezer!
