I ordered another kit that was made by another company. I couldn’t get the radio to line up with the screw holes on the truck. I took a chance buying the Metra kit and it fits and lines up perfectly. Now my new headhunt is installed in my 2006 Chevy Colorado. Great product! I highly recommend this product.

Thought at first just pieces of plastic but after carefully fallowing the directions my Sony double din stereo was finally tight in my dash. Stable, easy to install (if you have some experience) and I’m jammin’

Felt a bit flimsy, but seems it will hold up fine. It worled for my 06 silverado 1500. it does not come with screws (use the ones off your deck.) There were a few pcs that appear to be shims possibly? I am not sure and did not need to use them. Many universal holes to mount to almost any deck.

took some wiggling to get it in but finally latched in fine! Strong and get the job done once you know how to install it properly. DO NOT FORCE it in, otherwise, you may bend it (assuming you are not less strong the haulk by much)Highly recommend it.

I used it to install an Atoto A6 Pro head unit in my 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500. With this head unit, and this mounting bracket, I didn’t have to cut anything. The install fit flush, and the unit looks like it came that way from the factory.

Fit exactly as advertised in 2002 Buick Century, but doesn’t provide for any support of the double-din stereo at the back of the unit. The factory stereo had a post extending from the back of the unit that provided support at the back along with the screws at the front, but this kit doesn’t have anything like that. Using only the kit to fit in the dash, the stereo would be left hanging on 3 plastic tabs at the front sides of the stereo. I fabricated a small support for the rear, as well, to supplement this kit and mimic the factory installation. This kit worked great, but may not be all that you need to properly install your stereo.

Product works as it should. It seems like it would be easy to damage so be careful installing. Seems like there is no wrong way to install it. The brackets that mount to the side of radio will only pop in one way. It worked for my 2006 chevy silverado 1500 . It’s a good product, showed up when it said it would and arrived in great condition. Not a bad buy at all. If you’re changing out radios all the time then I would probably stay away but for me, I only plan on taking it out once or twice for backup camera and amp.

There is nothing magical about this product, it just works. The instructions were a bit lacking, but after taking a good look at it and messing around I got it hooked up just fine. I put it in my 2006 Yukon and it fit and looks great.

It was very easily installed in an 04 1500 Chevy Suburban. The Stereo System I installed with this kit was a Pioneer MVH-S600BS. I didn’t have to modify anything and was able to install it very easily. No cons or complaints. Looks amazing.

Perfect fit for my Chevy with a cheap double din radio bought on Amazon. Originally I was going to use the trim that came with the radio but using this entire kit together made installation much easier. I did have to cut the clips for the radio trim kit to get this one to fit properly.
