We loved this feed and just ordered another bag. It’s winter time here in northern NJ and this feed attracted over at 15 species of birds from 3 different kinds of woodpeckers, to titmice, nuthatches, chickadees, cardinals, blue jays and more that I have yet to identify. There was virtually no feed wasted. And I’m not sure if this has anything to do with this particular brand/kind but the birds come in a nice steady pace. They don’t swarm it like they have done in the past with other feeds. In the past we have had issues with starlings and sparrows swarming and emptying the feeder within hours. This feed lasted a few days with many different beautiful birds steadily attending the feeder. We sit in our TV room for ours just watching them! Can’t wait for our next bag. I notice many reviews say that the bag is mostly peanuts and this is true, but our birds love it! They have no issues with the large peanuts.

This the 1st time if bought this brand, I opened the bag and was shocked by the quality, as I was moving it around in my hands I actually said this seems to good to be just bird food, I would eat this. My husband passed by and asked why I was putting his trailmix out for the birds, haha but seriously this is fantastic, the birds love it, every critter that passed the feeder loved and came back. I actual got an order on my regular brand after I had put out this brand, the birds and wildlife were now leaving that brand but kept stoping back to check if I had this again. Now I have lyric on auto ship. I honestly thought all waste free feed was pretty much the same, some might have more peanuts or more sunflowers, yet still the same. With Lyric I opened the bag and said out load, OMG that’s smells awesome”.each time I’ve gotten it the quality the has been the same, awesome.
Poor Rabbit –
Our local wildlife has doubled because fires are moving them from where they’d normally forage. As a result our bird feeder is a high activity area for everything from little birds to bigger scavengers and furry critters. This food keeps everyone happy, isn’t loaded with corn that none of the animals actually eat and is true to it’s name. NO WASTE AT ALL. High protein, high quality nuts and seeds and really wonderful packaging. These guys work cooperatively with birds shaking the feeder to scatter for bigger birds and squirrels and other ground dwellers. :D We love this stuff, and so do they!

My feeder isn’t fancy — just a plate — but it’s a popular stop for the local birds, which in my Central Seattle neighborhood include chickadees, sparrows, scrub jays, woodpeckers, goldfinches, and the occasional crow, thought I am not crazy about the latter because they can be bullies.The smaller birds like the sunflower seeds and the larger birds seem to prefer almonds. It’s fun seeing how many a blue jay can stuff in its beak at any one time. I don’t get much bird poop on my deck which is nice.Re the rating for flavor — I have not tasted this product so the five stars are an assumption. Sometimes I will notice a burned nut or two but this mostly looks like rejects from the Planters factory.

This product was purchased to attract birds to a brand new feeder for my grandkids. .We knew nothing about the process and this product did not disappoint. This is the scrub jays favorite. They must have told all of their pals in the neighborhood because the sparrows, doves, squirrels, raccoons, and gray foxes showed up to enjoy it also.

This was a great buy. I’ve used Lyric bird foods for the past 7 yrs. You can count on always receiving a great product when purchased from a reputable dealer. However I am not sure what has happened with Lyric. Both Delite bags received in May 2015, had the older design on them. I have them in airtight containers and when I opened the container with the Delite food in i,t there were hundreds of weevils. I’ve had to go though my entire inventory of foods to make sure they weren’t spreading. Nothing except the single affected bags. Not too pleased about this at all and will definitely think twice before ordering from Lyric via Amazon.

This food is great for large birds like woodpeckers, ducks and squirrels and rabbits as the seeds are mostly whole or halved. The pieces are a tad larger than regular feed as this food is protein packed with nuts – so pieces are larger. Little birds loved it but took forever chipping it down to size so it could eat it:) I love all Lyrics seed types because it’s excellent quality and always fresh. It’s always a hit with the birds/animals too. Recommend and will buy again!

I have the BEST bird buffet in the neighborhood! This food attracts so many beautiful birds that I am constantly running for my camera! I bought several bags this winter and the birds are still coming and looking for it, so much so, that I bought 2 more bags today even though Spring is in the air! My challenge now is chasing the squirrels as they also love it, and I wish they wouldn’t try and climb the pole. But, a mere tap on the window startles the squirrels and the birds return to their buffet. I have not had any problems with it flowing through the feeder and it never lasts long enough to go bad or get moldy. Highly recommend this brand as it makes the birds very happy!

I have 8 wild bird feeders and the birds love it. When they see me going out in the yard to fill the feeders all the trees get filed filled with wild birds (7 varieties) and they start singing and chirping until I’m done. Sometimes they get with-in 2 to 3 feet from me and sing to me as if the were happy.I also have squirrels that feed on the same food. All seem to find harmony and share the food.SAME COMMENTS FOR THE FOOD BELOW.

I have about 25 feeders in MN.. Woodpeckers downy, hairy, red belly, finches, nuthatches. blue jays, robins, crows, grackles, chickadees, hummers, cardinals, etc. Houses, and patio feeding, squirrels including albino, whoopee. Baths and an arboretum of trees, shrubs and flowers prepared for the last 20 years.I like the Lyric high energy fruit and nut except for the corn, nobody eats it except if I am gone for two days. It also has some black oil seeds or something that leaves stuff on the patio. It is good though with lots of nuts for everybody and keeps the squirrels off the feeders. So, I tried this. Cleaner.I’ve been getting this for the feeders and I mix in other stuff, chipped sunflower hearts for the smaller birds and some furit and nut Ultimate from Kaytee or somewhere to lighten this up for other birds.The key is, for no weeds on grass feeder or cleaner patio this is pretty nice. A little bit more expensive so I mix different seeds for different feeding uses. This has been helpful to me for clean, no weeds, heavy nut content to distract squirrels. Since there were no reviews I thought I would throw something up. It is pretty good. I wish it was Prime, I wish it came in bigger bag. I spend over 500 hundred a month on food and small bags are a lot of work.
