Our Story
Hollywood beauty legend and PRO makeup artist Carol Shaw was inspired to develop LORAC after watching her celebrity clients suffer from skin irritation and breakouts on set. It was shipped and recieved pretty fast. When I got it, there was a plastic protector for the mirror and for the shadows. There was a little bit of shadow that managed to get on the inside of the palette, however, it was not much and it easily brushed off. The colors are highly pigmented and all matte. They are very beautiful shades. The palette is the size of my hand so it is good for travel. I would highly recommend this palette!

I was AMAZED by how pigmented this palette is. Oh my god one swipe of my brush and there’s enough product to apply over my entire lid. Honestly, this palette needs someone who’s experienced in applying eyeshadow because it’s a little hard to handle the pigmentation of the shadows, but i’m getting there! And it has all the basic browns for a day and night look.

I used the same palette nearly every single day for 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘢 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳 before I finally used all of ONE color – I still had most of the others left!- shadows/shades that stay in place from pre-dawn to post-midnight – No, I’m serious, they 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 last that long- An eyeshadow for those of us with sensitive skin that can be worn all day, lasts all day, and can still be easily removed with only mild makeup remover/gentle cleansing- it includes every shade you need: Whether you’re striving for a more natural/everyday look or a glamorous/dramatic one (or anything in between) – this palette can definitely do it- It’s compact, durable and travels well: I’ve tossed it into my bag (and/or dropped it) more times than I care to admit and I’ve never had a single shade crack/breakI’ve purchased this eyeshadow palette 3 times – twice for me and once as a gift for my mom. This is the first eyeshadow I’ve ever had to buy twice because I used every ounce of the first! This palette has the perfect colors for every day wear, a casual night out or a fancy night on the town — It’s versatility alone is worth every penny! The quality is outstanding – by far the nicest eyeshadow I’ve ever used — and that includes nearly every major brand from your cheaper drugstore products (Rimmel, CoverGirl, Revlon, etc) to the more high-end “found in department stores only” cosmetics (Clinique, Estée Lauder, any brand sold in Sephora, etc), I have yet to find a superior eyeshadow!Every time I’ve strayed from this palette has resulted in disappointment and ultimately I find myself going back to this eyeshadow – it never fails!

I’m 62 and have always wore quite a bit of makeup, particularly eye makeup. This eye shadow works well on my aging, thinning eyelids. The colors are great and are heavily pigmented—you don’t need much on your brush at all. It goes on smoothly and blends fairly easily. I suggest a light hand and add, rather than trying to take away because once it’s there, it’s there to stay. Zero fallout from the brush (you know when the powder ends up on your cheek instead of your eyelid). Good product, will last for years.

Lorac has superior Shadow palettes. They are highly pigmented so they last a long time. The colors can be blended together nicely. They range from nice daytime accents to dramatic evening smoky looks. You can watch a tutorial from the Lorac site. Very helpful and gives some great application tips. Good price point. There are other shadows that are cheaper, but Lorac has quality lasting smooth pigments. Definitely will purchase again.

This is such a nice quality basic pallette, its got enough range that you could pull off quite a few looks with it! Its a bit smaller than I thought it would be but thats not a bad thing, its just a more travel friendly pallette. The shades apply well and dont have too much fallout either. I really like the Corduroy shade, its a nice warm brown. You can pair it with the Burgundy shade for a bit more of a dramatic look or pair it with Pink Mauve for a more work friendly look!
