The media could not be loaded. For just over a hundred bucks, it’s amazing that you can get a dual cam 2.5K/1080P dash cam with GPS with this quality! I just got it yesterday and tried it out. It’s great. I’ve included a video out and about with a new Aston Martin Vantage, though I’m sure Amazon reduces the quality for the review. It was really quite smooth and clear. I tried both the 2.5K and 1080p videos and found them to be excellent, and the attached frame is from the 2.5K and the Aston is on 1080p.I’ve also included some pics of installation on an Audi S6. I didn’t fully hide all the cables because I’m not perfectly sure of the exact place I want it installed, but I was surprised how easy it was to install and hide the cables without installation. The attention to detail with the packaging was impressive, and I noticed a clear quick start guide, quality 3M adhesives (love that) and covers to protect the optics and display. They provided a tool to make it easy to tuck cables in between trim pieces, which worked well, and I thought it was really nifty that the Kingslim cover plate comes off to put the suction cup on and then you can put that very plate on the suction cup. Honestly, I was expecting far less at this price point.I didn’t notice when I purchased that it had WiFi, and it was nice to be able to connect it to my home network instead of having to pull the included 32 GB Kingston (great brand) microSD card every time you want to access media. It’s also helpful that it separate the recorded parking and driving videos to make it easy to find if you do use the card directly.

I believe that the Kingslim D1 Pro dual dash cam is a great vehicle device. At first glance, it may seem small in size but it makes up for it with plenty of useful features. It may also seem a bit on the thick side but it houses a lot of tech under the hood. First of all, it has two HD cameras, one in the front and the other in the back of the device in addition to the IR LEDs which has the ability to record in day or night. If you are an Uber or Lyft driver or just want to keep an eye on the kids in your backseat this is the device to get. Better yet, if your vehicle is already equipped with a backup camera then this device absolutely complement your vehicle perfectly.Out of the box, it includes everything necessary to quickly mount and install the dual dash cam in your vehicle. It even comes with a mini crowbar, adhesive cable clips, electrostatic windshield stickers for the GPS, an usb transfer cable and a 32 GB Micro SD card!I took the device to my car and just slid the windshield mount onto the dual dash cam and stuck it on my windshield and plugged it into the car charger port and it turned on. The navigation button on the device are small and takes some time to get used to but I was able to get into the settings and customize everything to my liking.I did run into a small problem with the app, RoadCam, they suggested to use. It was not in the Google Play Store but I was able to locate it on their website. I had to enable third-party apps to be installed on my android by finding the “Unknown Sources” option through the developer settings on my phone. Once that was done, I pressed the wifi button on the dual dash cam and found the wifi network on my phone and connected to it easily. I opened the RoadCam app and it quickly found the dual dash cam.Another problem I encountered with the Kingslim D1 Pro was that everytime I manually turned it off by long pressing the power button, a few seconds later, it would turn on. After reading the manual and going through the settings I eventually found the problem. The parking sensor was enabled which activated the device to record a “sudden shake” such as whenever I was carrying or moving the device around. However, this did confirmed that the G-Sensor was working properly in that if someone were to hit or shake the vehicle, that the dash cam would turn on and record the incident.Once I got the app set up on my phone I found some interesting features that it can do. You can watch the live feed from your phone as long as you were connected to the wifi network. You are also able to view the content that was recorded on the memory card from either the videos or photos. You can also download them to your phone for safekeeping without having to take out the memory card and transfer the contents to your computer. The quality of the photos and videos did not disappoint. The pictures were of high quality and the videos were in HD. All in all, the Kingslim D1 Pro dual dash cam is truly a great vehicle device.

The media could not be loaded. I have been using a dashcam for many years now. It is great way to record and review details in the event of a car crash (which unfortunately happened to me…it was hard to watch). It is also a good way to record videos of our family road trips and edit them for YouTube. I have an older version of the Yi camera which have served me well for quite some time now, but then, I decided to upgrade. I found this D4 camera as a worthy replacement.Why?1. What really got me interested was the 4k video capability and the Sony sensor. The videos I got so far were superb, the colors have great contrast and the images are sharp. It looks great even with glares and the nighttime shots are very usable with no lag and graining. The stills are just as great with this 12megapixel camera and a max aperture of F/1.8.2. As a bonus, the package includes a rear camera with all the wires you need. I was able to install the rear as prescribed but I was hesitant to connect it to my reversing lamp to activate the back-up function (I think I will have to get help from my mechanic on my next maintenance check). Nevertheless, I can manually toggle between the front and rear camera with a touch of the screen (yes it has a touchscreen with gesture function).3. Some other important features include a built in GPS that tracks location and speed and It has all the standard function of a dashcam like loop recording and emergency lock that saves the footage during collisions. The app is functional and intuitive, it allows you to download recorded videos and photos.I am planning on buying a microSD with a higher capacity, I think this can handle up to 256Gb. My current card is too small to record 4K videos for an extended amount of time.Overall, I am satisfied with the camera and very excited to create more road trip videos this summer.

I got this a few days ago and so far I love it. The quality is great. We haven’t really used some of the features yet but it seems good in all the aspects we did try it. My 17 year old son said it was super easy to install and we had bought the install kit with it and wired it into the fuse panel with the connectors provided. The app is ok for basic needs so far. i haven’t downloaded any of the videos yet though.

The media could not be loaded. Just received it today. User manual is clear and easy to read/go through, camera looks really good. Mounting in my 2006 Toyota Prius! Initial quality of images look impressive for something in this price range!UPDATE!I cannot stress it enough. This is an absolute necessity to anybody’s vehicle. Image quality is good AND it might just be a saving grace to insurance claims. My daughter and I were rear ended. I JUST bought this car and it’s now been totaled. THIS Dash cam shows I was in no way wrong.

The media could not be loaded. Just installed it, and so far so good. Easy install with pry tool included. There is plenty of wire for a large SUV with plenty left over. It also doubles as a backup camera with a wire included, but I didn’t need that. But for those that don’t have one, it’s a nice option. Phone app could be a bit more user friendly, but it works. I will revisit this review and provide an update with further use.

This dash cam is great, has GPS mounted to the mount, looks like a solid camera, has great video quality and touch screen feature which is nice. The app is simple, it works if u know how to use a smart phone. Rear camera is great, much better than 720p.Update 6/21Had a issue with dash cam, contacted customer service and had it resolved in 2 days time.

Overall, the Kingslim D1 Pro packs a bunch of features into a small and affordable package. This would be great if you are an Uber, Lyft, or other rideshare driver, or even if you are driving a school bus or another passenger vehicle where you want to simultaneously monitor the road and the vehicle occupants. The cabin-facing camera has 4 infrared (IR) LEDs to provide night vision even if the inside of your vehicle is completely dark in the middle of the night. The camera allows you to turn on a WiFi hotspot which is broadcast from the camera itself, and connect with your Apple or Android device to play back videos recorded on the camera, and you can record in up to 2k resolution with only the forward facing camera, 1080p at 30 frames per second for both forward and rear cameras simultaneously, or 1080p at 60 fps for the forward facing camera only. The video processing has standard features such as WDR, although I didn’t seem to notice a video format option in terms of h264 vs h265, although I could have missed it.This dashcam also gives you a “parking monitor” where the camera has a small internal battery, so that while your vehicle is turned off/you’re away from the vehicle, if the camera detects someone has rear-ended or hit your card, the “G Sensor” picks up the shock and will record a short clip to help you identify the incident.Another nice feature not often seen in the market, is that Kingslim includes a 32gb MicroSD card– maybe it’s not the largest capacity SD card available, but at the very least you can try out the camera before investing in a more expensive Micro SD card.Another thing is that the GPS module is built into the power cord, not the camera itself, and they give you a template to stick to your windshield first, to help you pick a good position for the camera, gps module, and wiring, to achieve a professional-looking install. They include a plastic cable pusher (called a “crowbar” in the manual 🤣), a few adhesive-backed cable clips, as well as a USB A to Mini-USB cable for copying videos to your computer, so your actually have 3 methods of viewing/saving videos out of the box: MicroSD directly, MicroSD via the included Mini USB cable, and WiFi via the “RoadCam” app.Overall, for about $100 after discount, this camera is a great value considering the GPS position + speed monitoring, video captioning with date/time, cabin-facing camera with 4 light-sensitive IR LEDs for night vision, and the included 32gb MicroSD card. If you need to see toward the rear of your car even when it’s completely dark, this camera will get the job done out of the box, and for a very reasonable price. I haven’t yet run into any issues, but my experience so far has been positive with Kingslim’s customer service, and my other camera by the same company has continued to work great.

The media could not be loaded. The Kingslim D4 has the features you are looking for with an easy setup and a great price. The camera uses WIFI to connect your phone via the app you can download which gives you access to the videos on file and take pictures with the front camera. The front camera records up to 4K resolution and the rear camera records 1080P videos that are crystal clear. You can switch to the front view in QHD 2.5K and the rear view in full HD 1080p for daily video recording. The app lets you view all the current videos and photos as well as the live video feed and download them to your phone or laptop which is very useful if you ever have a claim. The quality of the videos and photos are excellent and the detail is great and you can easily read license plates. The day quality is slightly better than night time but you are still able to view the license plates. The Kingslim uses a touch screen interface to navigate the dashcam which is easy to use and you can playback the video on the dashcam. Video Quality 4.5/5. User Interface: 5/5Features: parking mode, GPS to monitor route and speed, night vision, up to 256 GB memory card, 24 hr recording, touch screen. The parking mode is great as you can adjust the sensitivity for the G Sensor. The quality of the build is excellent and is very well put together you do not have to worry about poor craftsmanship.Installation is easy and there is plenty of cabling to run the camera to the front and back and hide the wires. It takes a little bit of time to hide the wires but does not take very long and hiding the wires conceals the installation. The time it takes is about 45 – 60 minutes which is typically for most dash cams. All equipment needed for the installation is in the package. I would like to have the option to hardwire the install directly to the fuse box and bypass the cigarette lighter plug but that is not a deal-breaker as most dash cams sell this as an add-on. Ease of installation 4/5.Overall the Kingslim is 4.5/5 with excellent value for the price.Pros- Wide viewing angles, including a 170-degree angle lens- Built-in Wi-Fi GPS and G-sensor accelerometer- IPS touchscreen- Sony sensor (IMX335) and four infrared LED lights for nighttime drivingCons- Doesn’t include a USB cable- Doesn’t include a cable to hardwire to the fusebox
