I ordered the Jane Iredale eyeshadow in the Cognac triple color combo. I tend to lean to the more neutral palatte so this is perfect for me. You will need to provide your own brush or applicator but if like me, that isn’t an issue at all. The colors go on well, and stay put all day. I didn’t have to reapply at all. The container seems to be well make, so it should stand up to traveling without an issue. There is a little mirror in the lid, a nice plus.

This palette comes in a beautifully appointed matte-gold-trimmed case, which has a very high end appearance. The compact size makes it easy to fit in an evening clutch bag for touch ups on the go. I appreciated the mirror which was also of high quality and not some cheap plastic, but there’s no applicator included so you’ll need your own brush.The colors were beautiful and natural! They had a slight shimmer, which gives a very sophisticated look to the eyes – not too sparkly, and goes on smoothly. Great coverage that lasts all day. Even though it says crease-resistant, I had to use an eyeshadow primer because of the nature of my skin.Overall I’m very pleased with this product, and I am going to try other products from Jane Iredale!
