Great foundation if you have normal/oily skin. It great quality and goes on easily. My aesthitician (sp) recommended this product and I can say it has truly been wonderful. I use this and sometimes the compact to keep it switched up a bit. The product is good for your skin and provides great coverage. It goes on very mat but when your natural skin oils it looks great. I highly recommend this product.

Many “mineral” foundations actually have organic powders in them such as rice or corn cob powder. On some people they look great. On my rosacea, the organic ingredients feed the micro bugs in the pores that cause irritation and make it worse. Jane Iredale’s mineral foundation is just that, minerals, no organics, so no irritation. It doesn’t have a noticeable shimmer. Usually I apply it with a clean cotton ball, then finish with the flat end foundation brush to remove excess. The color in the container may look dark, while on, it’s just right. As the skin gets oily through the day, I blot, and rarely reapply.

Very natural on face. Does not “cake” up and can wear it on hot days without worrying about it getting into pores and blocking them up. I typically apply it once in the morning and good for the day. It is expensive but lasts such a long time it is well worth it. I believe I would have to purchase at least two powers of another brand for one Jane Iredale Loose Mineral Powder. Strongly recommend it.

I’ve used mineral makeup for years now. I needed to find a new one because the brand I was using was no longer available. I searched Amazon to find what was available in clean mineral powder makeup. I wasn’t familiar with the Jane Iredale line at the time. I went to the Jane Iredale website to check it out further and see what color options were available. I’m medium cool with pink undertones so I chose the honey bronze. When it arrived, I was disappointed to see how orangey it was. I thought it was never going to work for me because it was so much different than what I’ve used in the past. Then I tried it. I picked up the tip on the JI website to use a hydration spray after you apply it. I had never done that before in all the years I’ve used mineral powder. Game changer! I was shocked at how natural the powder looked on me. Loved how silky it felt! But the best thing was how oil-controlling it is! I’m usually an oil slick a couple of hours after washing my face. At work, I’ll use a tissue or paper towel several times a day to blot the oil off of my very shiny face. It’s no longer necessary. I may blot my face once now toward the end of the day and it’s still not too oily. I wish I would have discovered this stuff sooner! Highly recommend!

I have been using this product for 8 years and I can’t do without it. It is harder for me to get now that it used to be and I tried a couple of other things this past year but nothing else made my skin look and feel so good! I am 44 but I had a complete hysterectomy when I was 39 and my skin is post-menopausal, which means very, very dry. When I use any other make-up, liquid or powder, my skin looks crepey and feels tight, no matter how much moisturizer I use. This loose powder is formulated for dry skin and it makes such a difference! I am also an esthetician and make-up artist and this is the only thing I use on my wedding parties, or even directly after a facial. It’s more than amazing.I stopped working for a salon where they carried it and I refused to pay full retail for a year. When I finally decided that I couldn’t live without it, I’d pay retail, and ordered it online and started wearing it again, everyone at my office started giving me compliments. The best part is that they didn’t know exactly what it was……. they’d say things like “you look so pretty today”, “your tan looks great”, or “your skin looks so radiant, or flawless”. For me, one of my other favorite benefits is that it is never gonna clog my pores so I can sleep in it if I’m being lazy and I never worry. I love it and will never stop using it again!

A friend of mine is an esthetician and I told her I wasn’t happy with how dry my skin felt with IT cc cream so she suggested Jane Airedale. At first I was hesitant because it was a powder and I was worried it wouldn’t give me the coverage I wanted. It’s ahhhmazing I love it. St her suggestion I bought a flat brush. It goes on so easy, doesn’t look cakey at all and gives me the coverage I want with a little glow. Love it! I’m going to try out some more of her products.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this product. This is my go to brand for powder and I could not be more pleased. You really don’t need to re apply it too often. I can go the whole day without re applying it but I usually do at least once a day. It lasts forever. I use it every day yet one container can last me a year. Its so good to your skin and doesn’t cause any irritation. Its great coverage and a really high quality natural product. It doesn’t have talc in it which irritates and dries out my skin like bare minerals. This price was amazing too. I thought it was too good to be true as it usually sells for double. I had the color matched at a store first before I bought it on line. Seriously amazing. I haven’t used another powder since I started using this. You can use it alone for light coverage or I usually put a tinted moisturizer underneath.

I’ve been using Jane Iredale Mineral Veil for over 15 years now and they still do not disappoint. The veil gives great coverage and you can layer if you need more coverage. Love, love this product. It is well worth the money since it lasts so long. I literally still have more product after using it for six months.

My dermatologist recommended this brand of face powder for me and did skin matching for color in the office. It was much more reasonably priced on Amazon so I ordered it and gave it a shot. Let me just say that this is pricier than any other face powder I’ve bought in my life. However, I always do two things: Apply it with a soft sponge and then smooth it out with a face brush. This way I can avoid touching my face and getting oil/dirt on it. And I have found that the powder really sets and stays. Plus it evens my skin tone (I have some red spots) and it doesn’t “stick” like cheaper powders do. So, my verdict: Worth the price for a very high-quality face powder that makes you feel confident when you wear it.

I do. I developed rosacea in my early thirties (gift of pregnancy – thanks son) and, suddenly, my skin decided to fight with the products I had been happily using for years. Skin, I love you, but there is no reason to be so dramatic about everything. When I find a product that can co-exist peacefully with said diva skin, I hang onto it for dear life. This powder has joined a very exclusive group of about five things I can put on my face without paying for it later.I put it on top of tinted moisturizer, and it looks great. It doesn’t seem to fill in fine lines or look clumpy, and, at 55, I definitely have those. I like that it has a decent SPF, because, of course, Mariah Epidermis burns if I even look at a picture of the sun. (Okay, a little bit of hyperbole.) (But not much). It doesn’t have the staying power I would wish, but that is most likely due the fact that I put it on moisturizer instead of foundation. I have this product on my subscribe and save plan, and I (plus skin) will probably sob if jane iredale changes its formula or retires it.
