I did a lot of research before buying this TV. I looked at LG, Vizio and TCL and I am so happy I went with the U6G. The difference between the 6G and 7G is not worth the price and the 8G doesn’t come in 75 inch. The TV uses Android which connects to your Gmail so all your apps automatically sign in. The picture quality is stunning. Made even better when you have access to UHD or 4k. It automatically adjusts to Dolby picture mode.Connected my surround sound system used the ARC cable and it auto picked up on the TV controller. If you are looking for a large TV with amazing picture quality for under a K then this is a MUST buy.

After alot of research I came to conclude that this television is the best rated one at this price range. Rtings provides a very detailed review on this model you should check out. This was my first Hisense tv so I was skeptical, after being a Samsung fangirl for so many years. The picture quality is fantastic, especially with the local dimming that allows for inky blacks, a feature not typically found at this price point. The brightness is also great, even in moderate sunlight, I’m able to see with the window open. It also has an automatic brightness dimmer controlled by a photo sensor, so you don’t get blinded in the dark, but you can turn off the feature if you want to. The resolution and image quality is great, what I would expect from a 4k set. The response times are good as well, I have not noticed any issues on that end. The sound is surprisingly good for built in speakers, it can get very loud without distorting, but it depends on the source and quality of the audio you are using of course. The Android TV interface is fantastic, I actually prefer it’s interface over the new Chromecast with Google TV interface. The voice search works really well. The only downside is there are fewer available apps compared to the Chromecast with Google TV, but it won’t be an issue for the majority of users. The interface is also very quick and responsive, not laggy like other TVs can be. The remote works well without issues and has all the features and buttons I would expect. The TV integration with Alexa and Google Home (Nest) is easy and works well. The TV (50″) is very light, and I was able to set it up myself without help, but I recommend getting assistance just in case. All in all the TV is a fantastic value at this price range, it has many features like local dimming that you will only find in more expensive models. At the time of writing this (November 2021) it is certainly the best value at this price point hands down.

I upgraded from a 4K UHD 43” Roku Insignia TV and I couldn’t be any happier. The picture quality and brightness of this tv is NOTICEABLY better!!I thought my last tv looked amazing…. But oh was I wrong. This feels much more like a “premium” display, instead of the insignia which is a “budget” 4K tv.If I’m not mistaken, this Hisense is still considered a “budget” tv….. but I think it’s better to call it “a steal” 😆 😆Now obviously the Quantum Dot ULED isn’t going to look as sharp, crisp, or have the deep blacks of an OLED…. But if you can’t afford $1200+ for an OLED, This tv will be perfect for you.Honestly, Once any tv is on your wall, it’s already the best tv because it looks amazing and you don’t have something next to it to compare it to like you have at bestbuy or Walmart.

Amazing picture quality. No quality issues others have seen. Deep blacks and gets more than bright enough.

I like the beautiful picture quality. I like the sound volume quality and the loudness is pretty loud even on #10. It goes much higher than 10 also. I like the easy remote control. Easy to find channels and the apps. Standing on an angle looking at the TV the picture quality is still good. I do not play games on it. Nice television but see below. What I do not like is: (1) I was unable to connect this tv to my wires in the wall to play the sound through the speakers. (This was the only reason why I purchased this type of tv because it had all the hook up in the back for the cables. The audio out is different from what’s in my wall and what was on my old tv. This tv has a Flat Audio Out Slot, not a round hole for the slot. Amazon please explain!(2). I installed a few new Apps and it told me my storage was FULL!! To delete some apps for better performance! WHAT!!!!!!!!!! Never heard that on a tv before. Same apps on other TVs in house with no problem. It gives you the option to install but can’t function with them. Amazon please explain!

Really nice TV that punches well above its price tag. Colors are on point. The HDR actually works on this tv. Lots of TVs or monitors say they support HDR but lack the specs to produce it with any accuracy. Must have local dimming which this has and high peak brightness this says its 600 nit but ive found it peaks at 700. A 1000 nit would be ideal but that costs significantly more. Rich blacks and crisp whites. No ghosting or blur. A little bit of jutter on scenes where the camera pans but better than most 60hz TVs. Some people complained about a laggy operating system which I definitely noticed but this was resolved by going to the Google play store and manually updating all the apps. 🤓 I upgraded from a lower end Hisense 4k tv and it’s a night and day difference. Speakers are great too. For 399.99 it was a steal.

The media could not be loaded.  GORGEOUS PICTURE and PERFORMANCE…..I was shocked at the quality of the TV for such a small amount of money. I am EXTREMELY PICKY as I do not like buying carelessly and throwing money away. I have an extremely limited budget and I cannot afford the BEST. ….I RESEARCH a TV BEFORE I even consider it for purchase……”For the money this is a great TV!”……NO, THIS IS A GREAT TV REGARDLESS OF HOW INEXPENSIVE IT IS!……This is an “entry level” TV, but I do not know what more I could ask for in picture quality and performance. An OLED I guess…Can’t afford it……As far as GAMING goes, I am not a gamer so, I cannot give a review on gaming, but, this TV does have a fast response and I do NOT see any BLUR on fast moving objects…….In BRIGHT light…PICTURE SHARP and GORGEOUS….4K IS AMAZING and the sound is fine to me….I don’t feel a need for a sound bar…..RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX….this TV REALLY performs……BUT, I have only had it ONE WEEK…..It does have a factory warranty for 1 year like most any new TV.

Got this around Thanksgiving time. It arrived in 2 days via the biggest Amazon truck I’ve ever seen. The 2 friendly guys that delivered it called ahead and were in and out of my house in less than 5 minutes. My wife and got it mounted on the wall inside 15 minutes. After tweaking the audio/video settings using rtings.com I couldn’t be happier with the overall results. The video is clear and crisp. The Android TV app interface is smooth and fast. Netflix, youtube, Amazon video, hulu and hbonow all seemeleemssly work as they should. I am very impressed with the out of the box audio on this TV as well. Sounds like there is a soundbar built into it, its like being in a theater, the sound is immersive, the bass hits you in the chest. I am upgrading from a meh 6 year old 70 inch vizio that blew out 3/4 of the led backlights out of the blue (will never buy vizio again) and was a bit apprehensive buying a hisense but the difference is night and day. Dont be afraid like me, buy this TV now!

First of all, the negative reviews seem to all be “I got a tv that was damaged, 1 star” If that’s the case just SEND IT BACK, yeah it’s annoying but if you don’t want to take that risk buy it from a local store. The other one star reviews seem to be “Bad picture don’t buy, 1 star” Ummm either your trolling, getting payed to write negative false reviews, or your lazy. For a tv you plan to have for 5-10 years that you will use constantly take a week and adjust/calibrate your tv. Anyway, about the tv, I spent countless hours researching best tv to buy for around $500. There were several I considered but I’m extremely happy I chose this one. It’s definitely the best tv out there for under $500, that’s not a gaming tv, which i don’t game so i don’t care about 120hz or whatever. Anyway I got the 50’ for $412 tax and shipping included. The box arrived on time and undamaged (to my surprise). The packaging of the tv was absolutely tough, sturdy, and very impressive. It took a total of 10 mins to set up. The picture is super clear, bright, and vibrant right out of the box so I turned down the backlight and brightness a tad, turned the contrast up a little and turn off some features such as motion settings etc., and left the color alone. I was just looking for a tv with great picture to watch hd cable, my dvd/Blu-ray collection (1,000 plus), Netflix and Amazon Prime,(all of which this tv does perfectly.) One minor drawback was having to agree to Googles’ terms and conditions or you can’t access the tv, so I agreed and then turned all that stuff off afterwards, but Google knows everything about everyone so it doesn’t matter. Anyway, I’ve only had this tv for a month but I am extremely impressed with the quality for the price. As for the sound maybe I don’t know what good tv sound should be but this tv gets LOUD!! I put the settings on music and I can’t turn it up past 30 out of 100, but as to be expected the bass is lacking. For a bedroom tv it has excellent sound!! As for the customer service, thankfully I haven’t and hopefully don’t have to use it, but this tv for watching pretty much anything rivals some $600-$800+ tvs. Like I said I didn’t get this tv to game so I can’t say one way or another if it’s a good gaming tv. What I can say is a lot of people don’t even have the technology (4k player/ 4k discs) to make this tv look as good as it can. I highly recommend this for the price. Thanks Highsense for producing a quality product, with premium features, at a budget price!!! Highly recommend!!!!

Going into my search for a 4K TV I had a few requirements: budget friendly (<$500), "decent" quality, and acceptable for next-gen gaming. Due to my budget, I fully accepted that I would possibly have to settle for an "average" product. This TV exceeded all my requirements at only $400.I came across this TV after seeing its surprisingly good review and metric scores on a well-known review website (RTINGS). Although it was only $400, the TV scored an overall 8.0 score. It was an outlier both in the price and the fact that its scores were great in all aspects (movies, gaming, sports, TV, etc.), which was not the case with most of its competitors (TCL, Vizio, Toshiba, etc.). At this price range you'd usually see either low scores all around or good scores for some uses with low scores in others. My main uses are streaming movies and playing next-gen video games. In both, this TV is more than satisfactory. The picture quality is great and the sound is more than acceptable. For gaming, the input delay and response time are minimal and I've yet to notice any issues with the picture quality you might see in other TVs at this price point (ghosting, smearing, dead pixels, distortion, etc.) While not the most feature rich TV on the market (no HDMI 2.1, 120Hz, VRR, etc.) it is more than enough for those of us who want a great experience without having to spend $1,000+.
