First, remove the applicator from the box, lifting and removing the plastic tab to expose the foil backing. Peel away the foil or use scissors to open.

Hold the applicator upright with the foil side towards you and snap the applicator tip.

Part your dog’s hair between the shoulder blades. Place the applicator tip just above the skin and squeeze. Apply the entire contents of the applicator in a single spot directly onto the animal’s skin. Do not apply on top of the haircoat. Avoid contact with the treated area until dry.

Reapply FRONTLINE Plus every 30 days to help protect your pet against fleas and ticks.

We’ve bought this product on Amazon before. We stopped buying from them last year because the product wasn’t working properly. After doing some research we found that there was a lot of fake product on the market. We started buying from Chewy and we have had zero issues. Due to a hectic schedule I forgot to order more last month, and Chewy was gonna be longer than usual for shipping so I decided to give Amazon another try. Apparently nothing has changed with the quality of the product they are selling. Just like what we got last year, the product does absolutely nothing. I ended up going to the local pet store and overpaying for the same product I had just bought from Amazon. At least the pups are happy and flea free! Do yourself and your pets a favor, buy a quality product from a reputable source! Shame on you Amazon!

I had been using advantix for years but it stopped working. I tried herbal repellents but they didn’t work. I was hesitant to buy this one assuming it would be the same. I was very pleasantly surprised to be wrong. Firstly this is easier to apply and secondly it doesn’t have that strong rubber odor of advantix. I could actually see it working. I used a flea comb every day and on the first day there were no fleas around the shoulder area. On the second day there were no fleas around the shoulders, chest and down the back to the tail. On the third day there were no fleas at all.

My dog brought a flea from a park before. And I forgot to give her Frontline that month.Everyone in the house started to get crazy bug bites and was afraid to sleep at night because of the bug bite. Most importantly we were more worried about the dog. Because we could literally see bugs crawling on her back neck. So we gave her a shower and used this on her right away. Next day the bugs were all gone. Like a magic.I always buy the big ones and give dosage according to my dog’s weight. Since the ingredients are the same, you just have to adjust the dosage for your dogs. This way it’s more economic.

I’ve been using Merial Frontline Plus Flea and Tick Control for 6 years now and I’ve yet to experience any issues with the product itself. I wish I didn’t need to use any flea and tick medication on my dog but I would rather be safe than sorry. I go on long hikes with my boy a lot deep in the woods inside forest preserves and so far he has never gotten any fleas or ticks on him (or brought anything into the home). I attribute it to the fact that he’s been on Frontline Plus. I realize that this is a pesticide but as a responsible dog owner, I would rather that he not suffer from what fleas and ticks could do to him physically without the appropriate preventative medication. My dog is very friendly and he meets many dogs around the neighborhood as well so he could easily pick up fleas and ticks from non-treated dogs but knowing that he is covered gives me some peace of mind. I trust Merial Frontline Plus to keep my dog safe and have been using this product for years without any issues. I always check every box and every vial to ensure that they’re the real thing and so far I’ve never encountered any issues that people have mentioned. While I like the fact that vials are well protected, I do find it a bit cumbersome to open and takes a lot of effort and patience. Overall, I would definitely recommend Frontline to keep my pet safe from fleas and ticks so I would give it a 4.5/5.0. -10/06/2014

I buy Frontline plus for the largest dogs and break down a single dose into enough doses for my small dog and 6 cats (2 are strays). It’s the ONLY way I can afford to treat all these animals and the only way I was able to eliminate the flea infestation that plagued us for months! Well, with the help of capaction (Walmarts version of capstar). As long as I keep my animals treated monthly, this product does its job! Make sure you buy it from a reputable seller! ONLY the Frontline plus for dogs can be used on cats, not vice versa. To dose your cats with this product, use an ml syringe with no needle and pull .5ml for each cat over 8 weeks and 2lbs.. Apply at the base of neck between shoulder blades. Save a fortune! Store unused product in a glass vile, preferably a dark one or at least keep it in a dark place.

I have a female German Shepard and I live in a tick heavy, flea heavy, mosquito heavy part of the states. Always works.. We’ve been using this product on our dogs since we’ve had them since they were old enough. My large dog is 9 years old now and he’s never had a flea.. Lucky Dog he is… We have one small dog as well.. She’s about 5 years old now.. we’re not quite sure her exact age cause I found her on the streets.. ( literally)..She actually found me.. Walked out of the grocery store and I felt a nudge on my back leg.. I looked and there she was.. it was the cutest little puppy.. I took her home of course and she’s been with us ever since.. The poor thing was filthy disgusting and she infested with fleas.. This medication ( for small dogs) has helped them from coming back.. We got her all doctored up and she’s a very happy dog.. can’t help but love her …

Took care of flea problem within 24 hours. I am a vet tech and I recommend this product to clients at my work as well. Some places sell generic frontline, but this is the genuine product. Easy to use and since the product is such a safe one you don’t have to be concerned if your pets sleep together and some rubs off on a smaller dog or cat. Some products will cause seizures in cats even in such small quantities. Easy storage for later use and stickers to mark your calendar so you don’t forget when the next dose is due!Easy to use, and not super oily like some flea products. No strong odors other than slight alcohol smell. You can bathe your animal after 24hours of use to get the remainder of fleas and flea dirt off.You should use this product for at least 3 months, nothing can kill flea eggs and that is their typical life span. If you vacuum be sure to remove the bag and vacuum outside immidiatly as it is the warmth and vibrations make the eggs hatch.

    Serenity…

Have used this product for many years and it works extremely well. It is easy to apply as it is ‘squirted’ between the shoulder blades and absorbed under the skin,This lasts for 30 days per unit and I have never had a flea or a tick on my Boxer since using this product. It should be noted that Vermont (where I live) has an overabundance of deer ticks and they are out in full force now that spring is here. Most highly recommended and will purchase again …

We use this on our two cats, as per our vet instructions, and it works beautifully. Much less kicking and scratching, no overgrooming, no flea dirt all over hard surfaces. This comes with three doses, so we open them up, put them in a sterilized baby food jar, and give each cat .5 cc from a plastic syringe onto the back of their heads / necks. Rub it in with tip of syringe and you are done till next month. So this box of 3 dog doses will give our 2 cats 4 months each, or 8 months for one cat, at a way cheaper price than the cat doses. And they are the exact same ingredient.
