D. Fowler –
I needed some batteries for a high-end flashlight and naturally decided buying local would be fine. I try to buy local as often as I can, but sometimes it simply doesn’t make sense. I finally found this in a hardware store that carried an assortment of batteries. I needed four of them and they would cost me $24+ and that was before the tax kicked in.FEATURES:► Perform in extreme temperatures from -40°F to 140°F► Holds power for 10 years when not in use► Leak resistant construction► Volt: 3Mind you, I don’t mind paying a little extra, but six batteries for $10.84 vs. $24 for four simply is an extravagance I don’t care to spring for. The batteries are perfect for the flashlight and are going strong. I’ve got a couple to spare for something else. I prefer local, but I also prefer somewhat reasonable prices. Sorry Ace, I just couldn’t deal with you on this one.

Unlike many others, I did not receive a little plastic bag full of batteries, mine came in a normal blister pack. Expiration date is 12-2030, so they’re fairly new. They both power my Sig Sauer FOXTROT1X pistol light just fine.I’ll update this review if they turn out to be duds. I bought these taking a calculated gamble based on prior reviews, and it paid off. Some people ARE getting the real thing, just FYI

I have a handful of old Olympus point-and-shoot film cameras that use 123 3v batteries. At the local grocery store, it costs around ten dollars for a pack of two. I save three times as much money in the long run by ordering them online.I have not tested the voltage on these, but the amount of energy my camera consumes is so minimal, I doubt a minuscule drop in voltage will affect its performance.A lot of these reviews portray falsely packaged batteries, or batteries in which the box is already opened. Not the case for me! I decided to take the risk in buying them, and I’m very happy with my purchase.

Got the batteries – and sure they will be solidBut what is Amazon thinking when it sends one blister pack (tiny) in an 8 x 8 x 5 box. I am not super green but did they need to use half a tree to package and ship this !! AMAZON — be a better community citizen. This waste really bothered me – and made me write this very first post of this sort by me

All 6 batteries are great. The best part is that they all look the same so it’s easy to identify them. As with everything though they have their positives and negatives.Over all I really got a charge out of them.

I typically buy AmazonBasics for stuff like cables and such, but I did get two batches of these batteries from AmazonBasics that weren’t as long lasting. You shell out just a bit more $ for these with a known brand and good reputation. I bought these in May 2019 and the expiration date on the batteries were out to 2028, good enough for me! The AmazonBasics I recall had about 7 years left to expiration when I bought them.

No real idea on longevity since they’re new and I just installed them – that’s a rather dumb rating factor. “Motion Detection” – yes – they are going into an alarm module (glass-breakage sensor) – but I see no way these on their own are going to detect motion. What was clear – value for money. About half the price of competitive ones. Just hope these last for a while.

I bought the same batteries from the hardware store while I was waiting for my order to be delivered. I purchased these for a predator tactical flashlight and they worked great! VERY BRIGHT and lasted as long as was expected. when I purchased my flashlight it stayed battery life would be 3 hours of usage, and the batteries from Amazon performed as well as the store bought batteries. I have already reordered more from Amazon because it is cheaper than the store.

I try not to buy chinese knockoffs when possible, and this, being a brand-name, is a little more trustworthy (though in fact that may not be the case). Several devices I have require this battery, so buying a larger lot made sense. Rechargeables die quickly and give no indication they need recharging until it’s too late, and in some of the applications I have for these batteries this would be totally unacceptable.

I looked through a lot of reviews on 123a lithium batteries & settled on this 6 pack. 1st because the brand consistently reviewed well & 2nd because it was available in a 6 pack which lowered the cost. I used to buy Duracell Pro 12 packs for years, but the price went way up. I just ran out again & I wound up getting the 12 pack of these since the price & quality still made it the best buy.
