   This stylish countertop ice maker has worked admirably after about a month of use. The bullet style ice gets a couple drinks worth down to soothing temperatures.The ice overall tastes great, this unit also comes with a mini ice scoop and tray to catch the ice, it won’t keep it frozen, so plan on using the ice or dumping it into a bag to put in the freezer, suggestion to break the ice again a hard surface afterwards, it likes to stick together fresh out of the machine.It’s also basically silent when it’s not making ice, though permit a little bit of noise when it’s in the process. I hardly notice the sound, admittedly I have it next to a water cooler, so I’ve gradually tuned them both out.It’s got an extremely easy to use process for anyone in the family, making the prospect of drinking more water more appealing, and cleaning is a snap. Simply drain the tank by pulling the plug underneath into a sink or tub, or wait for the water to run out. After it empties, plug the reservoir again, spray a little cleaner into the basin, or maybe run some vinegar or lemon juice through it. Let it go a few cycles, and rinse clean water in, drain until you’re satisfied to get it back to near new.Trust me on this purchase, as an Arizonan, we go through a lot of ice and water, staying chilled and hydrated is a necessity, it has my shining approval until it stops working so impressively. Get an extended warranty if you’re nervous about it failing, but as of now, I recommend this ice machine wholeheartedly.(If anything comes up, I’ll be sure to update this review, I know that’s helpful for these kinds of products.)

   It’s a nice quality product that make ice quickly. I be had it for a few weeks, making ice and putting it in the freezer after it’s made other wise it will stop when it runs out of water and doesn’t keep the ice cold, but if it melts then water will make into ice again. It freezes quickly.

   EDIT: Customer support saw my review and reached out to me to send a replacement. The replacement ice maker works MUCH better- I do not have to empty the ice until the entire bucket is full! I definitely recommend this product.Original review- I love this product except for the fact that if you don’t empty the ice bucket every batch, which is every 9 minutes, the ice sticks together in one big chunk. So you have to keep an eye on it.

   The size of the ice maker is pretty standard. It does the job and obviously makes ice. The look of the ice maker is a very nice glossy black and makes it look very slick and subtle with a small glass area for you to see how much ice is available.The startup for the ice making process is rather slow and it makes 9 pieces of ice at a time. Once the ice machine is up and running for a while, thats when the ice would appear more solid and less transparent since the temperature had been regulated. Depending how much ice you use, you might need to refill the water daily or every 2 days. I use a fair amount of ice and I just check occassionally if the water needed to be refilled or not. It doesn’t take much time to refill the water.The auto cleaning doesn’t seem to work as described. I tried doing it two times in a row but the inside of the ice machine still doesn’t seem to be cleaned automatically. The best way is to just manually clean the inside of the ice maker and wipe it down. I would say to not rely on the self cleaning in this ice maker. It took me about 10-15 minutes to clean the ice maker.Overall, its a pretty good ice maker and it does the job that needed to be done

   I absolutely love this little icemaker. I bought one about 10 years ago, it was about 40% bigger and made the exact same amount of ice. This one is more compact, and even makes the ice faster, and cost about $50 less. I love this ice because it’s chewable without breaking your teeth. It really adds some thing to my little bar area. I already have a kegerator in a wine refrigerator.I just leave it on all day and all night and then I always have ice when I want it.

   The media could not be loaded.  So once again, something in my house has gone bad. People, this home ownership thing isn’t all roses, let me tell you. So anyways, my ice maker in the fridge decided it didnt want to work right anymore and due to the lovely pandemic, it’s almost impossible to get a service call on it. And if you know my family, you’ll understand why we need ice. Especially in this absolutley ridiculous summer heat we’ve been having. I figured a countertop ice maker would make a nice stop-gap measure and when I do get it fixed I’ll be able to make extra ice for parties.So it was shipped nicely packaged and piece of advice on anything with a refrigeration component, let it sit for 24 hrs to settle the freon. After that I filled water to the clearly delineated line under the ice basket, turned it on, and let it do it’s thing.It’s fairly quiet. The fridge hum is much louder than this. And it made my first batch of ice in about 8 minutes when I timed it. Not bad! And I didn’t realize the shape of the cubes would look like that, but it’s even better since it fits into my tea and lemonade bottles! It fills up the basket pretty efficiently and any ice that melts before use drops back into the water reservoir to make more ice. Definitelt a keeper in this house!

   I’ve had this ice maker for about two weeks. The need for ice in my household is immense due to sports, alcoholic drinks and a general love of cold beverages. The fridge and ice cube trays weren’t enough and I wanted something I could use to stock up mainly on cooler ice since I hate stopping for ice when needed. Here’s what I think:So far so good. Pros: it makes ice and you really can stock up if you’d like. As others have said, and it’s true, the ice does not stay frozen unless you empty the basket basically every hour. This doesn’t bother me at all I just set a timer. It will make a lot of ice if you stick to emptying the basket and refilling the water. The ice also gets better and more consistent the longer it runs. The “six or eight cubes in 10 min” or whatever is true, you do get ice, but it’s wet and tiny at best.My biggest concern is longevity. I have no idea how long this thing will last with my heavy use, but I will update the review accordingly. Other than that it’s doing a great job of what I needed it for.

   The unit was properly/safely packed for shipping. We read the manual before using the unit and it was well written and easy to understand. Our only suggestion for the manual is that is should be larger so the line drawings are printed darker and a little easier to follow. The unit is very easy to operate and not noisy at all. It produced ice very quickly and had the basket full in no time. Since the cubes are slightly wet, we put each basketful in a plastic bag and then into the freezer for storage. This is a great unit and we love it! Highly recommend the company and the ice maker!

   My refrigerator went on the blink: freezer first followed by the refrigerator a few days later. I got an appointment with the repair service 8 days later! The technician arrived diagnosed the problems and ordered the parts. The good news here, my almost 8 year old refrigerator was still under warranty. The technician ordered the parts which will come directly to my apartment, but the closest installation appointment was 2 weeks in the future. When I had to wait about a week for the first appointment, I got onto Amazon and ordered this ice maker. It was simple to set up and works well. The repair technician implored me to disconnect the water from my refrigerator ice maker. This Crownful will work well as a source for the through door ice-on-demand refrigerator feature, even if there is manual work around added in order to get the instant ice. The Crownful counter top unit makes ice quickly and just keep chugging along.

    The media could not be loaded.  Fantastic machine. First drop was in 8 minutes. There are a little small at first but as machine cools down the get to full size as expected. First batch I put into our fridge and working through it well. Got this because our ice machine in our fridge can’t keep up during parties. Looks like this will help out just fine!
