   I had the older model crowfull ice make and it did a good job although took a while to make ice. This model however, does an amazing job. It makes ice way quicker, about 7-15 min per batch, and is quite. This ice maker also has a great capacity. Overall I am beyond satisfied with this ice maker.

   This machine arrived mid-afternoon today, a replacement for a different four-year-old machine that’s slowly dying. This machine has a 30% smaller daily ice yield, which is fine, and the ice is comparable in size and shape.Since whoever at Amazon packed this failed to notice the “this side up” markings on both sides of the box, it arrived in a much large Amazon box (with its own “up” markings), lying on its side. I let it stand upright for about five hours before plugging it in, filled it with cool water, plugged it in, set it for large ice, and hit the start button. The first round took about twenty minutes, but subsequent rounds are down around ten minutes, and after about an hour and a half the basket is nearly full. Happiness ensued.Minor annoyances:Those LEDs are a lot brighter than necessary.There’s no place on the machine to put the scoop except inside the ice basket (a hook or holster on the outside would be nice).Some of the ice pieces tend to stick together after being released into the upper portion of the machine, and won’t fit through the gap where the pusher sends it. I switched to the smaller ice size (about the size of “large” ice from my older machine) and that problem hasn’t repeated.

   I had a smaller ice machine that i thought that I’d like. But after a few months, it had stopped working!! All that I tried, it just wouldn’t come back on! I was so disappointed with it!Then I found the Crownful Ice maker at Amazon. Truth be told, I was quite skeptical about getting another ice maker just after the bad experience that I just had with the smaller machine. When this one came, I took it out of the box, Examined it to make sure that it wasn’t damaged anywhere & plugged it in to start making ice with it. And boy, does it make ice or what?!!It makes ice in just 7 minutes! Inside of 30 minutes, the basket was full!! It has a self-cleaning cycle & you can select the size of the cubes!! If the ice reaches past the top of the basket, the nmachine will stop making ice until some of it is used. Stainless steel exterior is easy to keep clean!Plastic interior is foam insulated. So far, I like this machine!! It is quiet in operation, no noise at all! About the only thing that you’ll hear is the ice dropping & being dumped into the basket! I keep it on top of the small freezer next to the liquor cabinet. It’s safe there & goes hand in hand with the convenience of making cold drinks!! It’s a great ice maker!!

   with reviews all over the place, picking the correct ice maker is a crap shoot. This one makes ice quick, the cubes can be dropped into most water bottles, and they are hollow, so the liquid flows around them making them colder quicker. The down side is they are barely frozen, so they melt quickly. Adding to cold water or soda, no problem, but adding to room temperature water they melt really quick. In those cases i have an extra cup of ice to add.I hope it lasts.update:. Love this machine. Makes ice fast. A bit noisy, but it’s in the kitchen and not a concern. Good size reservoirs. I don’t know how I got along without it.

   This somewhat compact ice maker is great for parties. It fits on my countertop and while it isn’t small, it’s handy. It works as you’d expect. My moms freezer just recently broke so she is super pumped to borrow this until it’s fixed. Definitely recommend this brand over others as their customer service is phenomenal.

   I’ve been very happy with my original Crownful countertop ice maker, however was a little disappointed it didn’t have the features that some of the more expensive ones did. This new model fixes each of these features and adds a few more (self-cleaning). The previous model made chewable/crunchy ice; quickly and easily – and I had more than enough. However, it was a bit cumbersome to clean and I wondered about keeping the interior tubing clean. Solved with this model. :) I also (since I like crunching my ice) preferred the smaller cubes, but adjusted by letting the single size melt a bit – this model I can choose the smallest size and no more waiting. Not to mention, since word spread, I have more ice to share with family because of the larger capacity container and quicker ice making. I had never heard of Crownful, but I am becoming a fan of their products. All three that I have now work just as well as the “name brands” at less cost and are lasting. I have also been very happy with their customer service – quick answers and prompt, helpful action. I will look for this brand now when shopping appliances.

   I was tired of wasting the limited freezer space I have available in my apartment refrigerator storing ice trays that I rarely use. I ordered this ice maker so I could have easy access to ice when I need it without sacrificing my limited freezer space and it works perfect for me. I can have ice when I need it within 10 minutes.The controls are simple to figure out and there is a cleaning function as well. I love the 2 cube size options. I can fit ice cubes in my water bottle without smashing them now! I imagine it will come in handy the next time I throw a party and we are burning through the ice quickly but I haven’t had the opportunity to try that out yet. I also think this would be great to bring along while camping if you have electricity available

   It isn’t TOO big, its quiet, and it makes ice, big or small. It does not keep the ice it makes frozen, it’s not a freezer. So, you kind of need to be around while you’re making more ice. This icemaker costs much less than having our refrigerators icemaker repaired, if we could get the parts. It does the job we needed done and I’m pretty happy with it so far……It looks good top of the new Amazon Basics Kitchen Cart I just purchased too…. pic, its the appliance on the left next to the fridge. =)

    My wife and I LOVE the ice maker. It magically slides just a 1/4” beneath our cabinets to sit nicely on the counter and we love how quickly it makes the ice. She prefers the smaller cubes, I prefer the bigger, which works great. It doesn’t keep them frozen in the tray as long as I expected it to which makes it less useful for daily use, but is incredibly useful for having people over or throwing a party for the constant and quick replacement of ice. I love it and can’t wait to try it out some more when we have people over soon.
