I’ve tried all kinds of wet wipes, I love to keep them around for all types of use and these are by far the best smelling ones! Amazing deal and quite handy. I used them for my dogs nose when she was sick and that worked super well too. They are gentle and smell refreshing

This is one of those items that, while not a necessity, is a convenient aid for an activity of daily living. I’ve tried three brands of these personal wipes (Scotts, Cottonelle and Charmin) and, while all are fundamentally the same, the Charmin works the best for me.The Scotts usually have the lowest cost per wipe (per package price is about the same, but Scott has more in a pack than the others). However, the size is a bit too small, and they are a bit too thin.Cottonelle has the best dispenser box to keep the wipes from drying out, and also dispenses easily. But, the texture is not as soft and the scent is not all that appealing. The Charmin wipes have a nice scent, are the softest, and are priced decently (especially if you pick them up on an Amazon price drop plus a subscribe and save offer). The only con is that the dispenser box is not the best (note: a box is not included in this particular item – it contains only the refills. You can pick up a box at most retail stores that sell Charmin). The box does not have an effective seal to keep the pack from drying out, and it’s very easy to pull more than one at a time. But, the refill packs fit inside the Cottonelle box, which is better designed to solve those problems.Highly recommend.

It’s a pleasure not having to run around to various stores, that carried the product for a year, than stops to a different brand as decided by not the consumer, but what a central warehouse manager gets more money for carrying a different brand. It’s what occurs already for women in the razor world. Where the handles don’t match refills, or just discontinuing your refills for a particular brand just to force you to upgrade handle&refills on a 6 month rotation.

Perfect bang for your buck. In my household we always use wipes for number 2 and with 4 people we use almost a whole box in a month. They’re also versatile, I keep a pack in my purse and I can’t tell you how many times that’s saved me from accidental spills or realizing the stall I used in a public bathroom was out of toilet paper. My skin is sensitive but I’ve never had a reaction to them and the wipes have yet to clog the toilet. I’ve been using the brand for years and when I found the subscription for them it was perfect.

*Warning* May cause allergic reaction!I love my wet wipes. If the apocalypse hit tomorrow, it would be one of the essentials in my bug out bag. However I have used these wet wipes in the past and had an allergic reaction after a couple of months to the chemical that are in them. Methylchloroisothiazolinone and methylisothiazolinone. I didn’t know what was going on. I was going to go to the doctor for hemorrhoids because I my bum was itchy all the time and I would sometimes get blood on my wet wipes. So I did a little investigating and got a mirror to check my self out. I had what looked like chapped lips on my bum(anal fissure). After reading on the internet I found some folks have a reaction to these chemicals in the wet wipes. I discontinued their use and any use by Kimberly-Clark(Scott, Cottenelle, etc.) and switched to Charmin since they don’t have these chemicals in their wet wipes. After a couple of weeks my condition cleared up. It’s been a quite a few years and I have not had any of the symptoms I described above. So buyer beware of the chemicals Methylchloroisothiazolinone and methylisothiazolinone!!!!

I have a gastro/intestinal disease that makes these a must in my bathroom. I love that they are not too thick, nor are they too thin. The scent is great, and not overpowering, and the wipes have just the right amount of moisture. I have not had any issues with dispensing them when I carry them in my purse to use when out of the house, and in the house, I have an old plastic reusable container I used to buy these in, so I just take them out of the current package and put them in the container.I have had trouble finding the Charmin Wipes in the store, so am so grateful I can buy them here on Amazon.

At a young age I was taught to finish up with soap and water, a practice I stopped out of social necessity. Torn between my European upbringing and what was available in American bathrooms, my inexplicable need for cleanliness just couldn’t be had with a dry piece of paper; a need so great, that I was potty trained at age 1 because I gagged myself to death with a #2 in my diaper. I compromised for decades only going at home or knowing where the single toilet bathrooms were, then I could wet toilet paper from the faucet. Let me say this, toilet paper *is not* designed for this task! But one day. One. Fine. Day, 10 years ago, I discovered flush-able wipes. Although it was another brand, I was practically in heaven. I have used Charmin Freshmates for years now, it is simply the best alternative to washing with water. I have packages everywhere: at work, in my car, hand carried in a backpack, when I travel or am deployed, I don’t leave without them. They are my favorite wipe for the following reasons:+ smooth surface, hemorrhoid friendly!+ sheet dimensions are 5″x7″+ soothes the burning from watery stools+ the only wipe that does not feel like wet sandpaper or Brillo pad+ can be used in an emergency to wipe up toilet seats!+ fingers won’t break through+ easy to tearHowever, they are not without faults:+ every 3rd or 4th wipe, and without fail, out comes 2-3 wipes.+ the Charmin plastic container does not seal well and leads to dry wipes.+ refill packs reseals, but you have to neatly tuck the protruding wipe back in. Otherwise it bunches and the seal doesn’t work.Regarding the pro reason: “easy to tear”.I use Freshmates as a final cleaning stage, but found that one just wasn’t enough. Given the dimensions of each sheet, my overall wiping area, and I have been doing this for 38 years, I figured that I could clean with smaller sections. Tearing these like a sheet of paper was too inconsistent with a big piece in one hand and too small a piece in the other. However, an index finger works well as a guide, much placing a ruler over a piece of paper and pulling against the edge. Lay the wipe across the index finger and hold with thumb at the midway point. This utilizes the length of the finger as an “edge” so when the wipe is pulled with the other hand it results in two proportionately sized pieces -with practice.

These are fantastic.I can’t believe how long I waited before trying these out. So many wasted years. I started using them ~4months ago and now I basically refuse to leave the house w/out them.A few years ago a friend tried to get me to use them by asking me “If you had poop on your face would you clean your face w/ something dry or something wet? Why don’t you treat your butt the same way?”.I take these with me when I travel, and even take small ziploc bags w/ them when I’m going on shorter trips.I can’t speak to how well they actually disintegrate in plumbing/underground, but I haven’t had any problems yet.

I started buying these just for home use, but now I always throw a pack in the suitcase when I travel. An additional use? When the kids bring the little ones along, these are always a life saver. And buying in this quantity makes the price extremely affordable.
