I saw the negative reviews related to the wall-mounting, which I found relatively easy. You’ll want to measure the actual TV relative to the template, as the template was a bit narrower than the TV, and the top edge of the two brackets will be roughly 1 1/4″ below where the top of the tv will fall, but it was all intuitive enough, and I appreciate that the TV can be adjusted once hung, in case you miss 100% level with the brackets.I paid for the year of art, which is fun for my family and amounts to a pandemic-era art education, and I generally thought the built-in sound was decent for what it is. The picture is sharp. I can tell the QLED isn’t really matching the blacks of my LG OLED, but then I didn’t expect it would. Bought this for the features and appearance, not a state-of-the art TV panel. A provisional 5 stars, which I’ll revisit after a few months. For day-1, good show!

Overall nice tv! Sharing my install story as to how I hid the cables and got the tv mounted. Hope it helps someone else.Installation: I had a hard time finding the install instructions for this 2021 model, which I wanted to see BEFORE buying to get my wall construction right. I’ve posted a picture of them here hoping it helps someone else ahead of time – see tv markup on top w/ letters that correspond to measurements in the table directly below it (right side is inches).I despise cables so decided to put a Chief (#PAC525FC) in-wall storage box into the drywall between studs with an outlet inside it; see picture. This worked out nicely and fits the OneConnect box perfectly (which is what everything connects too – HDMI, power, antenna, and other cables). The OneConnect box then has a thin cable that runs to the back of the tv allowing it to sit flush on the wall.I ran my HDMI and antenna cables behind the wall down to an outlet directly below the in-wall Chief box that has inputs for such connections (see lower outlet cut-out in photo). I bought such an outlet off AMZN as well for <$20. So my Xbox and cable box now simply plug directly into the wall.Mounting of the tv is a little silly as it’s 2 mounts holding the tv vs. 1 single in the middle. Because of the distance between the mounts (roughly 27-3/16” apart for my 50” tv) you likely won’t hit a stud for BOTH of the brackets. Because I had the wall open for the Chief box, I added 2x6’s between my studs so the mounting brackets would go into those after drywall was up. Due to ductwork in the wall my right-side tv mounting bracket overlapped by in-wall box (see photo) but this did NOT interfere with placing the OneConnect box and cables within it. The supplied screws worked perfect for the brackets. Can’t speak to the provided red drywall toggles.Install 1 mount then using a level, mark where the other one should go. Then when you hang your tv it should also be level (mine was). The instructions (more like hieroglyphics as another reviewer said) show “adjustments” can be made once the tv is hung-up, but I couldn’t figure out how that was possible. Again, if your mounts are level and straight in line you don’t have to worry about it.Picture quality + apps: Coming from a 10-year old tv this one is great. Built in apps (Disney+, AppleTV+, NFLX, AMZN, Hulu, etc.), Bluetooth sound to headphones, and the Art mode is nice when not watching anything. You can definitely tell it’s a tv with certain free artwork provided, but others are quite good looking and blend in seamlessly on the wall. Colors and motion are good with tv shows, movies, and Xbox One gaming. I read there are other tv’s with better pictures for less $$, but you buy this one for a great looking, thin tv on the wall with the art mode and magnetic frame/trim you can put around the tv (also another $150+ expense sadly...). The remote is intuitive and rechargeable, and the navigation windows for apps, etc. are very user friendly. Wife’s happy with it and I like it too!

I love how it fools our visitors into thinking it’s a picture frame and not a TV. It is definitely worth it and it has its own Samsung TV channels for free, it gives you options to choose the streaming channels etc. I am not a TV expert but if you like some art pictures in your living room vs a black box, this is it.The only con for me is the remote. While it was great to keep it small, the buttons for the channel guide and volume are combined it took a while for me to get used to it. 🙂🙃

The media could not be loaded.  Be forewarned if you want to run HDR at 4k 60hz you will need to replace the HDMI cable that comes with the TV. I use these TVs to display professional signage and if you are running high resolution HDR content it will flicker once and then turn off the HDR setting. I replaced the existing HDMI cable with a Fusion8k HDMI cable and the picture looks amazing. Great TV for running high resolution images 24 hours a day.

If you are concerned about the 2021 Version, then read this review. This TV looks awesome and stands out above the fireplace perfectly. I had my doubts as to whether it was worth the cost, but it truly does look like a piece of art. This model is thinner than typical TVs and mounts closer to the wall. We installed the 50-inch version of the TV. The One-Box is completely hidden inside of the cabinets and the one connect cable was run through the wall.If you are willing to take your time and measure carefully, the installation is not difficult. The instructions include a diagram showing the exact spacings of the mounting brackets (attached). As long as you can read a diagram and mark up the wall carefully, it’s straight forward process. I marked up the entire area with masking tape and I even taped the brackets to the wall before I drilled the holes. We also read that the included screws don’t work well, but we had no issues with the screws . I used the largest Philips head driver I could and drove it into the wall with a drill without stopping. It worked fine. Please keep in mind we had to install in brick, which is more difficult than drywall. The mount is actually quite clever when it is installed. It allows you to level the TV with easy adjustments. I was impressed with how well it worked. If you want a TV that stands out and doesn’t “look” like a TV, then this version of the Frame is worth the money.

Excellent tv. Honestly, it was not that bad to install. I saw a few reviews and it was actually easier than I thought. Watch a few installation videos to get an idea. The best tip I used was to get and use toggle bolt’s for drywall installation. The anchors provided in the hardware kit are for concrete/Brick installation. Instead of one single mounting bracket, there are two mounting brackets. Each bracket uses four screws. For my installation, half were in studs and half were drywall. Therefore I needed four toggle bolt sets.I made the Frame for around $50 vs buying one for $600. I cut the crown molding 15 feet for four-inch molding) using a hand saw and miter box. That sucked a little. If you have the right power tools, you can make short work of it. It takes extreme precision. At the end of the day, buying a frame may be favorable for most people. I’m glad I made it myself — it was a nice project. The Frame covers the sensors (light/motion) but it’s not an issue with my setup. It doesn’t interfere with the remote function. It works great. The connected apps are awesome. SamsungTV Plus is wonderful. We were going to forego having a TV on our main level because we didn’t want to cheapen the look of our home. This truly makes your tv part of the décor. The tv functions are amazing.Complaint: they should allow a motion adapter and/or build a second one in the oneConnect box.

Samsung frame does exactly as it’s intended! I read the reviews about how difficult it was to Mount so I had someone from task rabbit Mount it for me- he had no issues and figured it out on his own. I have been busy finding high res art from the met museum, Google arts and culture etc all for free! Downloaded files to a USB and saved to the tv. The frame tv will customize a matte to wrap around each painting regardless of the dimensions and the matte colors can be changed. Artwork can be set to shuffle , and rotates once every three minutes (or five , ten, fifteen etc) minutes. Love this feature. There is a box that must be connected to the tv and I have hidden that in the small credenza in my living room (beneath my patron lol) so it’s not an eyesore by any means. It’s obviously expensive for a tv (65” can be purchased for $500 nowadays) but I hate having a huge black rectangle on my wall. Worth the premium if you want a nice look and feel to the room . As long as the tv detects motion it will turn on, and adjust lighting via sensor so it’s not a glowing tv but dim like real art .. on a sunny day it can pass as art. On cloudy day / evening it does glow slightly but I’m fine with that! Tv has 6 GB of storage so start collecting art!

    Trying to do my best

Upon hanging this TV on the wall and seeing how better it looks than any other “normal” HDTV, I thought, “why the heck isn’t this the standard for all TVs?”What Samsung has done is so simple it is brilliant. They moved all the components associated with inputs/power to a separate standalone “box”. This does 2 awesome things. #1 – the TV can lay much more flush to the wall. #2 – now there is ONE cord running from TV to the box that you route behind the wall that covers all power and inputs. Then any inputs you want to add to the TV just plug into the box – cable cord, Ethernet cable, ps4, whatever. This way in the future – you need to add something…just access the box you have hidden (under furniture or whatever) and no need to take the tv off the wall to plug something in. The last nice feature – the wall mount system is integrated into the back of TV – so it is perfectly clean and slim as possible. This all seems so simple and so obvious to do…sometimes the most brilliant ideas look obvious in hindsight.Lastly…the “picture” idea is great. When the TV is off…instead of having a big black rectangle on your wall, you have a legit picture of your choice (art or whatever). Great idea! Why not. Make use of this space in a beautiful way instead of just having a dumb black screen consuming the wall? Again…so simple it is brilliant.Nicely done Samsung…all innovation doesn’t have to be about higher resolutions…this is such a practical improvement in TVs…love it.

I got the 75” Frame TV with brown bezel.Pros: Setup was easy with a friend to help lift and hang. Amazon was right on time with delivery. The Samsung TV channels are good quality and lots of variety – for a free service.Cons: glare – the TV is in a some what bright room so I can’t fault it that much. Art mode is a tad bit sluggish to navigate compared to the other apps on the TV. Price is high compared to other similar TV in this size so only 1 Frame TV, for now.

I always wanted a Frame tv, and I designed my home to house the frame like a a feature rather than what you expect a normal tv to look like. I LOVE IT!!!. I bought it during Prime day and 2months later it was properly and professionally mounted in place. I remember the first time the tv was on I couldn’t believe the picture quality it was uncanny how crisps and extremely clear this tv was in comparison with my other tv. I am still working out the art work part and loving discovering new things everyday.I am extremely happy with this purchase and hope my family and I can enjoy for years to come.
