   I purchased this for Tiger, my chronic vomiter thinking better eating posture might help. Turns out that these dishes are no higher that the dish he’s already been eating from. So I attached the dishes to each other to double the height. Hasn’t helped with the vomiting problem but he is happy to eat from it.

   This bowl seems to be excelent for my cat shes a little bit of a messy eater but with this bowl she seems to be doing better. These bowls are small bowls they are not circular as i had thought they are oblong. If you are looking for a bowl where you can put some food and water in for a week and forget it this is not a product for you. You will most likely need to fill water and food once every one or two days since it holds less than 16 oz.

   I have a cat with FLUTD and hates wet food, so I’m always looking for new ways to get more water into her system.I’ve had water fountains, water bowls… her favorite things are human cups (preferably if I’m trying to drink from them) and these things. My other cat has also decided that he’s a huge fan as well. Now my house doesn’t look like the little boy from “Signs” lives here. These are much nicer than leaving glasses of water around, and I don’t accidentally drink after my cat.

   Oh, wow! Okay…totally surprised by the reaction of our finicky eating cats. No jokes…all kidding aside…no exaggerations…our cats LOVE these!!! I don’t know what kind of magic is involved here, but our kitties (ages 8 and 11) actually ate their food instead of just licking the gravy off of it and then walking away!!!! And they not only ate the food, they ate it like they had never had it before!! What’s up with that?? I guess these bowls just make them so much more comfortable eating that they are enjoying it more…the only explanation I can come up with…these are definite winners and if this continues we won’t be wasting food like we were…the food will be eaten!! Yay!! The size is perfect for our cats. We have a smaller size Tabby and a Maine Coon mix and the bowls were perfect for each. The bowls are sturdy and do not move across the surfaces we have them on…one is on a rug, two are on hardwood and one is on carpet…they have all stayed put. I will be purchasing another set for their water bowls. I love that you get a set! Win! The colors are teal/aqua and one is beige. The price is perfect too! If the kitties are happy and more comfortable then it’s a winner in our book!

   I got these cause my cats seem to dump their food alot and wouldn’t finish the whole bowl. These are nice they are small and hold just enough food that the cats finish it. They can’t dump them over and the fact they are elevated seems to help this problem. They is much less food wasted. They are also tilted slightly and this seems to also help the cats eat from them., the lip of the bowls do not touch their necks.

   These are great, especially for an older kitty who’s not so flexible. The size is just right, they are nice and sturdy and wash easily. The only quibble I have is the color is not as pictured. It’s more muted than the photo, the “pink” is really beige. But that’s not enough reason to take a star off. Also, watch out for price changes as they can jump from day to day. I put this in my cart at 8 dollars and it jumped to 12 a day later. Completed the purchase a couple days after that when it went back down to 8. We have the B&W set too, I put a photo for comparison.

   4+ months in and I conclude that this is a great product. My hungry cat really loves this. I stick it in the top rack of the dishwasher, on it’s “side”, and it seems to have suffered no ill-effects.

   I ended up ordering 4 bowls total as I have 4 cats. ( 3 adults and 1 kitten) and the bowls work perfect for breakfast and dinner wet food. I have ceramic ones I use for the dry during the day but I really like these much better. They wash easy and the cats no longer have to strain to eat from the dish on the floor. I’d definitely recommend to others. :)

   I realized our cats would both occasionally stop eating and have a bit of a wheezing cough for a few minutes that looked and sounded very dramatic. We had to calm them until it was over, and it was stressful. It occurred to me they were having to eat pretty much at the floor level, and it seems I had read somewhere they should be eating up a bit higher off the floor. I got these to see if the cough would stop if they were eating a bit higher. I’m thrilled to say that did the trick. Neither of them have had the cough again while eating since we started with these bowls about a month ago. Not even once!I originally thought of just propping their normal bowls up higher, but one of them constantly tries to bury the bowl when she doesn’t eat all of her dinner. She would knock the bowl over making a mess. Super glad we tried these out. I bought one set and when it was successful I bought two more so I could rotate them. We clean them using the dishwasher, just not every day. We also use them for their dry food and their water now as well.GREAT product! Sturdy and I think they’re going to last us a long long time.

    I was kind of skeptical of the whole ‘raised food dishes are better for your pet’ logic, but since my cat is 16 years old (apparently a super senior!) and having some issues with food, I decided to order this. The first night I replaced her bowls was pretty comical… She doesn’t like change at all, and she spent the entire evening/night walking past the bowls side-eyeing them, but wouldn’t go near them. Bowls were completely full in the morning. But luckily she had starved herself to the point that she just didn’t care what her breakfast was served in, and she finally used them.What I’ve noticed…. She’s eating a lot more, which is great because old + skinny is not a good combo for cats. She’s also keeping her food down a lot better. The only thing I’m not the greatest fan of is the mess… there’s definitely much more mess on the floor, and I do wish I had purchased the option with a mat.But Her Highness is happy with her food bowls, and I’m happy that they’ve actually seemed to make a difference.
